Assuming I can keep the tempts at a optimal level. The room temp of this place is always at 70 and I have a portable ac unit I can put in this closet space in with it . + 2 6' fans.

Nope, if you can keep the temps in check like you said it will be perfectly fine. are your hoods air cooled? if not i would look into it for sure, you want to be able to keep the lights as close as possible and having the air from the bulbs sucked out right away Greatly helps. W/o my air cooled hood going I cant get the light closer than 12-14 inches from the tops, with it i can do 4-6 inches and not have any problems. That foot or so really makes a difference in growth and the growth rate.

+1 for vegging some more! You could have another grow finish one month behind this grow.

Big buds more.

I dont know why i didnt think of it, but these guys are correct. You should use one for vegging and one for flower and go perpetual. also, with 2 600w in that area your plants would quickly outgrow the space they have, especially if you do like 8-10 of em.

I agree that perpeptual is the way to go if you're shelling out for two 600's. It would be madness trying to cram two 600's in that area for a hand-full of reasons. Those are the exact dimensions of my cabinet and I'm only running 400 watts in there now. I actually had a 600 in there before and now it's in a much larger room. I felt it was a waste of watts to have it only utilizing that small of a space; it's capable of supporting much more. So if you decide on 600's maybe look into larger grow area(s) also. Just my two cents.

Man thanks guys! Alot of good advice over here! I didnt really think to make another box just for vegging but now I might just do that! A friend of mine is upgrading his new setup so hes offering me DIRT CHEAP prices on his 600w setup. I can even get another 600w ballasts and 2 more bulbs for 50 bucks if I wanted to lol.. But The problem lies in the limited space i have to work with ..

the answer to your question is no since you there will never be a light which produces as much as the sun, all you have to worry about is heat killing them
in a setup like that its all about ventilation
