You haven't dismantled it. Open carrying a handgun as an everyday practice is fine, though again I'd prefer conceal, I don't want people knowing I could kill them at any moment. Element of surprise, Sun Tzu and all that jazz. But open carrying an AR looking all Tacticool to make a political statement is silly and obnoxious. It doesn't prove anything.

But I suppose glass houses and stones and kettles and whatnot. I don't go around making fun of gay people while they have parades and protests, I probably shouldn't be making fun of knuckle draggers open carrying; protesting something that they can already freely do.

Silly and obnoxious? I agree with you there. I would not personally dress up thus.

My beef is with the undercurrent that says that the sight of a gun (not on someone in currently valid uniform) is an affront to decency. I read your invocation of terrorism as an extension of that position. I could be wrong; I just got pwned on a matter of wording. Am I tilting at my own windmills?

Who's to say what a large collection of individuals are to think. My personal opinion of the matter is that I think he looks silly, but by no means does he intimidate me, frighten me, or arise any emotion other than, "pfft, idiot". However, putting myself in the shoes of someone who does not have my background and understanding of guns, I can imagine being intimidated and potentially frightened to the point of claiming assault seeing someone that I do not know standing in the crowd of others yelling and chanting, "DONT TREAD ON ME!" or "BLACK LIVES MATTER!", while grasping to a loaded "assault rifle".

There's a time for peaceful protest, that guy didn't get the memo.

I absolutely agree that every member of the public has a right to patronize a bakery run by the government, except I can't think of any. What bakery are you referring to that is run by the government?

I agree with you about concealed carry. I see no point to carrying a rifle most of the time. Carrying a rifle is impractical unless you are hunting. On the other hand, there is nothing wrong with making a political statement, which is exactly what that guy was doing.

No, that is song written by a country star that reminds them of the special and wonderful country they live in, and having a parent that served in the armed services to protect and defend this country in war time, I am very proud of my dad, what he fought for and my country!

If by "bad odors" you mean skunk smell. You might be right. He grows really good bud, very good bag appeal and get's you toasted. UB is also a really nice guy in person, and a killer gardener.

The fart smells maybe the lining of your nose? Have you been brown nosing?

He could grow the most awesome stuff in the world, unfortunately that does not define him as a human being. I saw him in a conversation once about selling his stuff, and in one sentence he demonstrated the kind of low life human being he is. I would be very happy not to ever meet him in person, it would be a waste of my time, there are too many good people in the world worth time, he is not one of them.

in the uk guns are so banned even most cops don't carry, yes we have un(fire)armed police, unless u have a gun then the stormtroopers arrive with heavy weapons and kill you but hardly ever happens, your 2nd A once lost will never be returned, all I can have is a 12 ftlb air rifle...lol
