Is Tomorrow The Day That Russia Dies?

I've read the fact they have the assets kinda blunts this. People know they are 'good for it' in the long run.

Considering the yachts were bought with pilfered military funds can they be considered part of the Russian Navy?

They may have 30 days grace, but defaulting is a major psychological Rubicon and markets are a balance between greed and fear. I don't expect their situation will improve in 30 days, unless China buys their debt, or gives them dollars or euros to service it and they have big financial problems at home. This is bad for Vlad and no getting away from it, I doubt it will be mentioned on the Russian news, but it will help to crush the Russian economy. Vlad supposedly has a doctorate (which I'm suspicious of) in global economics and even if he doesn't have a legitimate PhD in the subject he's got a BA majoring in it at least. Vlad should know the implications of what all this means, though he could be in denial.

Societies have become too complex for autocrats to manage and the more heads involved in decisions the better they tend to be and if they are made by experts in the field, so much the better.
Vladimir Putin’s fatal flaw in invading Ukraine

And they are holding what, $450 billion in leased Boeing and Airbus assets, they refuse to pay for or honor legit trans-national repossession "Treaties". I fear those contractors getting planes back. And and going under the rug.
A new Russia is coming. People are learning dictators taste like tater tots when fried crispy. LOL.

But Russia is our friend.

Every time you show a bomb goes off or 1/6 happens.
