Hi RB,
If I were to receive a note from customs stating I may drive down to the city(as this other poster stated), I would ignore it and re-order to a different name and address. That's not protocol for Int. mail delivery around here, it would set off all sorts of red flags in my house...lol
Peace!
wassup sun?? i have had one letter from customs out of many a seed order.. i'm sure you have an idea of how many beans i tend to order..
anyhoo's, it was an order from sannies a few years ago.. it was well over a month and no order yet, so i pm'ed sannie and told him the dillio, and he reshipped my order no questions asked.. exactly one week later i got my order in the mail box.. the very next day i went to get the mail again and i saw another package from sannies.. like i said, this was years ago, and his packages were pretty unique, so as soon as i saw it i knew what it was..
got all excited and then when i went to open it, i saw that it had been taped together.. i had that sinking feeling in my gut as i opened it, and lo and behold inside was my very first keepsake letter from customs...
anyhoo's, my point being that i got the other package a day before the one with the letter.. therefore i would have thought that if they put people on some sort of watch list, then i never would have gotten the second package, the first to arrive, but i did no issues. that, and i've ordered ton's of beans in the mean time as this was about 3 or so years ago, all to the same addy, and still only had that one interuption, so ime, no real need to go changing addy's over one snagged package... maybe if you lived in a super small town or something i'd think about it, but even then, it's customs doing the snagging and not your local post office..
just my $.02 and my experience..
