ISIS/Daesh

A lot of people have seen what is going on with ISIS in places like San Bernardino, Paris & Belgium, then more recently Orlando, Lebanon, Turkey & Bangladesh. And it seems like ISIS is winning. But here is what is actually happening.
In June 2015 the Iraqi Security Forces were supposed to head towards Mosul (the largest ISIS held city in Iraq) and the Peshmerga did head toward Mosul, the Peshmerga are still holding a 400 mile border North of Mosul and not allowing ISIS to cross, and getting in constant clashes with ISIS. The Iraqi Security Forces did not head toward Mosul and the plan was for them to head there June 2016, they still have not done that, but they did take back Fallujah in June 2016, so they are getting started.
Analyses of the ISIS forces in Mosul by Peshmerga puts there numbers at 9,000-12,000 people willing to fight and die in Mosul. Some Peshmerga say it is probably less, as ISIS makes it seem like they have more people than they do. But they say it should take 30,000 soldiers 6-10 months to clear ISIS from the city, they will have to clear booby traps and snipers, etc.

So within the next 1.5-2 years, ISIS should be cleared from Iraq. Syria is a whole other issue, since Assad is not accepted by his own people so he can not remain in power, but Russia supports him and America has stopped Air-striking his forces. And the ISIS declared Capitol is in Raqqa, but once Iraq is clear (within the next 1.5-2 years most likely) people will definitely not feel like ISIS is winning. They aren't winning right now, but a lot of people feel like they are.

Daesh is an acronym for the Arabic phrase al-Dawla al-Islamiya al-Iraq al-Sham (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant).

Essentially, it's another word for ISIS - but apparently one that ISIS militants do not favour.

Why? Because it is similar to the Arabic words 'Daes', 'one who crushes something underfoot' and 'Dahes', translated as 'one who sows discord'.

I just want people to stop acting like ISIS is winning. They have Governors of their towns and stuff, but they get droned, and no one even knows if Al Bagdhadi is even alive anymore. They aren't winning, and they will not be in Iraq in a few years.

They are neither winning or losing. They are just another boil on the ass of humanity. I expect this terrorism crap to finally stop right around the end of time.

I mean the ground war. They are definitely losing. They just lost Fallujah and will lose Iraq completely in the next 2 years. Then after they lost Fallujah they got all the Sunnis they could that wanted to stay with them, and headed toward Mosul in a giant convoy, and the US blew up like 300+ vehicles. So now they won't go in large convoys ever again.

And they are having trouble getting supplies, they used to just be able to take 18 wheelers across borders but now they can't do that as much anymore. Which makes it hard to run a State.

This guy was abandoned by the UK Government, they aren't trying to save him, so he makes videos for them, probably in exchange for being allowed to live. If he is still alive.

ISIS Propaganda videos (they are a State, not like the sand people in Star Wars or something)

To correct a serious falsehood president Assad is accepted by his own people & I know this because I've met thousands of displaced Syrians who just want to go home & have the life they had before maniacs in Washington decided to destabilize the 6th sovereign country in the region , the entire hornets nest in Syria was stirred up by the USA & were not winning if were sending arms to Isis , does the US gunrunning black op "Fast & Furious " ring any bells ? government don't just stop when one black op is outed , they switch gears without missing a single shipment of arms or intelligence .

Peshmerga are under supplied & undermanned while fighting with many obsolete weapons & lacking artillery , all of which US backed Isis lack none of.

The only light in the tunnel is the Pentagon defied our brain dead prez & sec of state by sending US intillegence to Assad via German intelligence & the mossad , that's what's allowed Assad to stop Isis cold , not " american " military might or strategy .
