its a non fiction book about this women who traveled the middle east and mediterainian for several years and wrote about her experiences and the different things she learned about in those regions and cultures....apperently my wife looked up a bunch of things she wrote about and she seems to be pretty on point....im going to give it a wirl when my wife is done with it...

Having studied religion/philosophy for a while during a degree I was studying I believe Islam is only different in that it chooses Mohammed as its prophet. It is also the only religion that states that all working Muslims must give 10% of their wage to be shared out amongst the poor, hence no homeless muslims in Europe! Cant speak for N.America!
BUt to directly answer the topic, All religions have extremists of some sort or another, another view is that extremists come from all backgrounds and then get labeled by their religion.
