Israel's cost to the American people estimated to be a staggering $2 trillion

Do you condemn them? Simple question yet no answer, and again the relation between this conflict and the revolutionary war are not there. Just because you keep saying it it won't magically become true.
Of course I condemn rocket attacks and suicide bombings, but as Iv said a million times it's to be expected from an occupied people.

Peace with a future Palestine could even be the crucial first step in repairing Israeli-Persian and Israeli-Turkish relations too.

Well the Palestenians are the occupied, armed resistance is expected. Ask George Washington.
So you continue armed resistance while demanding the other side takes down their defenses.

Let the siege continue. Maybe one day you will discover all this was stupid.

So your saying that Palestinian attacks aimed at civilians is not justified then? I don't understand how you can not see that Persian relations are gone, who do you think funnels the weapons in? It's all the Arab states that have tried to wipe Israel out and lost, now they just have the Palestinians do the dirty work for them, and ultimately pay the price.

No actually I advocate a cease fire on both sides and bilateral negotiations towards the two state solution. It seems the supposedly pro-Israel people on here advocate more fighting.

Of course Palestenian attacks on Israeli civilians are to be condemned, wouldn't it be hypocritical to say Palestenians have a right to self determination but the Israelis don't?

I think we need a thread for Israel-Palestine since this thread is about Israels cost to the American people.

I was just answering a question. And it really does change nothing if one supports our (us, Israel we are alliies) you have no ground to discuss the ramifications, there is a word for that, its treason.
Israel and the U.S. allies? What has Israel ever done of any significance for the U.S. that would even begin to scratch the surface of what it would take to justify what the American public and their country has had to endure for their gov't's assine to commitment to Israel?

The reason you can't wipe out the Palestenians is cos the EU would take a shit on Israel, don't be so arrogant thinking the US is all Israel needs.

If the EU ceased trade with Israel, Israel would be fucked.

Do you really think the EU gives a shit about the Palestinians? After all wasn't it an EU member that gave away the land? You are mistaken, most people in the world see the Palestinians as they really are not the victims you see.

Yeah cos your world view is so broad. The EU wasn't formed when Israel was willed into existence, it was a few years after Europe destroyed itself, a Union wouldve been "unlikely".

But just so you know, the vast majority of the world deplores Israels actions over the last 10 years and there's huge support for the Palestenian people. The commandos attacking the boats in International Waters before they entered the exclusion zone (legally an act of piracy) and the use of cloned foreign passport by members of Mossad to kill a Hamas figure were two exceptional "support winners" for Israel.

What about Iraq? You didn't see any Israeli soldiers fighting alongside ours in Iraq.

You didn't see any Israeli soldiers fighting alongside ours in Operation Desert Storm.

You won't see any Israeli soldiers fighting alongside ours in Afghanistan either.

What in the hell ally?

And lastly, none of our other allies have cost the American people $2 trillion!

1981 operation opera. And where do you get this two trillion figure from? I've seen 5 billion, wich is no chump change but I don't see any trillions.

Most of your other allies (who individually cost you less) also assist you in battle...in this arrangement you get fucked with no lube and don't even get a kiss afterwards!

Since the original link is not working anymore. This is a similar one I found.
http://original.antiwar.com/alison-weir/2011/08/31/american-taxpayers-subsidize-israels-prosperity/
A little snippet from that...

In the past 10 years alone, Americans have given Israel the equivalent of approximately $200,000 per Israeli family of five. In addition, there have been weapons subsidies, loan forgiveness programs, special trade preferences, and other generous gifts from American taxpayers to Israel. In fact, despite being one of the world’ smallest nations, Israel receives more U.S. tax money than any other country.
