You did what I did. I got too backed up so I chopped off the big fans and hung the whole thing. I havent decided which way is easier, trim before or trim after drying. In any event, we're both in the same boat (although your boat is bigger) up to our asses in trimmingthat's awesome. thanks for the updates ....

all these years i've really frowned down upon these things. i was being stupid.
i'm doing about 2 ounces at a time. it literally only takes a minute to spin it. it's the trimming of the fan leaves that sucks. i trim all the fan leaves first.spin pro yea? how much does it do at once? bout a qp?
I'd say it was a good investment theni'm doing about 2 ounces at a time. it literally only takes a minute to spin it. it's the trimming of the fan leaves that sucks. i trim all the fan leaves first.

I see this one at the shops. Looks funny but apparently works. My buddies still use the ones that look like AC units. They don't manacure the smaller nugs like that.it's ON now, ... View attachment 607643 View attachment 607644 View attachment 607645 View attachment 607646

anything that can be used in the market of marijuana, generally is taxed pretty good.I see this one at the shops. Looks funny but apparently works. My buddies still use the ones that look like AC units. They don't manacure the smaller nugs like that.
Are you trimming the small nugs after drying so that you can still hange them?
Plus that unit you have doens't cost $1400.

he must have posted in the wrong thread.you do realize that he grew all this herb outdoors right?
You grows are always inspiring. Glad to hear all that hard work snipping is a thing of the past.he must have posted in the wrong thread.
getting A LOT done now.
i have fully examined the trimmed buds under a scope and they look just as good as if they were scissor trimmed. the finished bud appears it will looking even better because it will all be uniform. it's still drying though so i have yet to see it fully finished. looks great so far.

Do you find that the trimmer gets gummed up with kif? or does it stay fairly clean?
Hey Fdd .. amazing ... great documented grow !!
Thanx for sharing and teaching .. I thought I knew a lot about growing weed at one point .. HAH .. U Got a Green Thumb my Man !! And Great Technique !
Did u find out any more about the caterpillars / worms ? Man they did a LOT o' damage in very short time .. those things could wipe out an outdoor grow in a few days..
Also .. real curious about the one's that didn't make it .. strain related maybe ?
Anyway .. salute bro' .. U the Master !
fucking caterpillars wrecked shop this year... there was this one on a gdp plant and no joke it was slight lavendar in color. shouldve took a picture but it was probably as wide as a pencil since it had been working on it for so long.it stays a lot cleaner than i expected. grinds the trim up into nice crumbs as well. i'll get more pics of it up soon.
i'm finding numerous species. i think because it's fall everything around me is dying except my plants because they are tended to. the caterpillars ahev nothing left but me to chew on. they are loving it.
they do tend to prefer some strains over others. i have 2 phenos of the same strain (hijack) going. they are eating one pheno much more than the other. really odd.
these have the distinct black spots on them. a set of 2 in the center of their backs and a set at the tail end. the big ones have no spots. i have tiny ones that do MAJOR damage, as well.
