It is constantly entertaining that so many contrarians are so capable of such short memories. No NoDrama, no one on the right ever blamed Obama for the price of fuel. I imagine one day, when the sea is 10 feet higher than it is now, some Republican poster will demand "proof" that the right didn't believe in global warming - "they always believed it" that poster will proclaim, they were simply more cautious than the left.

As silly as it is, Obama will be blamed for tides rising. He shouldn't be, everyone should agree he shouldn't be, but he did have that little unfortunate moment where he claimed his election would mean the tides stop rising. It's like when a dem cheats on his wife we yawn, but when a family values guy does it, it's huge news.
What on earth would possess a man to be so arrogant as to think his election means the oceans stop rising? And to actually say it out loud...
