It isn't enough.

Well that's what a proper education would do, give people the knowledge to see that Fox News is propaganda and not news.

Tucker, Hannity and the cast of clowns are not news, what news there is is biased and cherry picked, but even they have to be honest about things sometimes. Look at the regular news and tell me if Trump knows his arse from a hot rock?

That's rich, coming from the guy who wanted to re-write history to suit his own beliefs,

Not that I disagree we need to step up our support for public education, I'm just saying your home schooling failed you.

While your parties only select crooks for candidates, nothing will ever change.
What about very clean candidates that get trolled as being crooks?
Trump has what 20 years of life left max? He is a cog, not a cause.
Sure, the 'billionaire' spoiled brat who was getting millions a year from his daddy before kindergarten and has been spreading viral hate since at least 2010 when he started Obama's 'birther' conspiracy lies. It might actually be earlier when he started lying about thousands of muslims dancing after 9/11 in Jersey. And the last 5 years has done nothing but lie and create fake hate on the most epic scale the world has seen outside of maybe Putin. But that is only because Putin has done it to get Trump his megaphone that comes with the Oval Office.

Trump is more of a cause with us being here in America as most anyone.

Actually, they don't have to agree or give up their measly electoral votes. Its not necessary.

The National Popular Vote bill would guarantee the Presidency to the candidate who receives the most popular votes across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. Explanation. It has been enacted into law in 16 jurisdictions with 196 electoral votes (CA, CO, CT, DC, DE, HI, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NM, NY, OR, RI, VT, WA). The bill will go into effect when enacted by states with an additional 74 electoral votes.

We don't have to enact an amendment to the Constitution. All we need is a few more states to agree to allocate their electoral votes to the winner of the popular vote in the Presidential election. Oregon approved this bill last year. The west coast is already in. A few more states and it's in the bag. Not going to happen this year, of course.

There is plenty of support for this across the country. Even deep red states like GA and AL have had enough interest to hold hearings on the matter in at least one of their legislative body. Enough votes exist to end the EC if states in orange and yellow on the map shown below -- ones that have passed the bill through one or both legislative bodies -- succeed in a future attempt.

It would surely be challenged by the Republicans in court, they have no regard for the will of the people. I'd be interested to see how the Supremes would rule.

Yeah, they can challenge it. I'm no constitutional scholar and from their interpretation of the constitution, somehow the Supreme Court arrived at the wildly invalid idea that corporations are people, so I'd have to say, let their lawyers talk to our lawyers and we will have to fight it out.

That said, the constitution clearly says each state shall decide how electors are appointed:

Clause 2. Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress; but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust or Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.

There have been other rulings on the matter and the whole constitutionality of this effort is discussed here: https://www.nationalpopularvote.com/section_9.1

The SCOTUS has been stacked with appointments that were selected for their right wing views. So, yeah, it's not over until it is.
