It sems like my plants dead.

Hey guys I got a seed to germinate and it came up about a half inch with the seed still attached.
It's been 4 days now and the seed is still on there and it didn't even really grow. I do grow with cfl's but I have a huge cfl that I have it under. I thought the extra light would make it grow quicker.

Does it matter if I use the blue spectrum cfl lights for when vegging a plant this early in a grow?

mist it and using tweezers GENTLY crack the seed husk/shell and gently lift to remove. if it's stuck, mist again, try 10 minutes later.

once the husk is off, the cotyledons will open and leaves will begin to grow from the center.

If you get a clear solo cup poke a few holes in the top and mist inside the cup, mist the seedling, and put the cup over the seedling for like an hour or 2. when you come back it should be moist and easy to pry off the seed shell. -Machiavelli

i just looked at it to try and get some of the seed off it just came right out and there wasn't any root system going on so I think it was a dud or something like that.

Well this is out of the question now because I tried this and the whole seed just came out lol.
It doesn't matter though it was only a seed I got from a shitty bag of weed.
