Yeah my parents pay for my tuition so that helps a shit ton. I'm from the midwest...no jobs here haha

You can actually put your CFL much closer to the seedling, mine is about 1 inch at closest point, they get much better light. as for ventilation I am using PC fans, 12v, one 76 CFM one was quite powerful enough, I used a old 12v transformer from a old PC steering wheel, it tops 1.2A at 12v, its like plenty for 3 fans. Look around the house for old 12v charger, most 120mm PC fan use less than 0.18 amps.
