iTop's Organic Rooting Trial

I was looking into rooting my new clones, i'm getting in a couple of hours, organically. I went to my back yard, and took some Willow Tree branches (fresh)
I can't find anywhere, how well this will work, so i'll be posting pictures for you all to see, and try if it works :)

Process: Take cutting and strip leaves. Cut twigs into one inch pieces and put into a large bowl. Boil some water, and then pour water into bowl of twigs.
Let sit for 24 hours, and remove twigs. And there you go natural rooting hormone. Store in jars, and keep refrigerated

Rooting Process: (This is where i'm skeptical) It says to take clones, and let soak in hormone for 24 hours, with light. Then remove, and place in rooting medium.

I'll be trying this today, and will keep posting my findings :)

Hey i just found out about willow water from my a old Indian friend... so i just went out today and got some willow and i just finished warming them up on the stove and im going to let it sit till tomorrow morning to cut my cuttings..

Few questions..............

when you use the willow water do yo delute it 50 % willow water 50 % fresh water???

Im going to use jiffy pellets can i just soak them in the willow water or use the 50/50 mix???

Don't dilute, well i didn't and my clones are doing great :)
I'm waiting for the roots to break bottom and i'll post pics
I don't think it'll hurt the plants, but your supposed to do like a cup of twigs per gallon of water... But i did WAY more than that

Nice, let us know how it works out for you! I just tried a new method recommended to me: let cuttings sit in mixture overnight, soak rapid rooters in mixture, mixture is aloe juice, fulvic acid (FulPower) and protekt (potassium silicate).

I like the willow method, i have willow on my property, need to try it, and i'll probably scoop up some leaves on the ground and throw in my compost/soil mix

I have the SAME EXACT SETUP, down to the jiffy pellets :)
We're pretty much spot on. Mine are on Day 4 (didnt get mine as stated with first post)
So we should be pretty much even
Can't wait to see how yours come out
I'll be posting some pics tomorrow

Yeah, me too
If this method works as good as i'm hoping it does, i don't think i'll ever use those synthetic hormones
Organics the way to go

Sorry, ran into some trouble today and forgot about the pics. But update, we have roots :)
I can pick up the clones, with the wet pellets still hanging on. I was a little surprised, and really excited
Working pretty good so far
