Awesome stuff iTop. Willow should work great. I have posted about using willow before as it's a great natural rooting hormone (basically it's packed with Auxins - plant building blocks).

Some things I found:
Keep the mixture in the fridge.
I would generally make new batches every few days.
Use the mixture to water the clones and plants as well (but dilute it).
When making it, don't boil the water, just soak the branches (the furry growth is the best) in warm water.

Good luck.

Peace, DST

Sounds good BlueJ, lemme know how it goes!
Hey man wanted to give you my update on my new rooting experiment:

Roots @ 8 days, i saw them yesterday @ 7 days which tells me roots probably popped out @ 6 days from cutting. 9 of 21 showed roots by 7 days, 13 of 21 @ 8 days - Beats my previous methods, hats off to CC for the recomendation - per 1gal water - 60ml aloe juice (NO sodium benzoate), 30ml fulvic acid, 5ml potassium silicate (protekt)

willow water didn't work for me.. such a disappointment... just pulled like 7 more cuttings today i have 3 left.. it looks like the stem inside the jiffy pellets rotted they were mushy brown when i pulled them out going to go get some rooting hormone dip that's always done the trick before..

Super bummed what a setback..:fire:

you can root a cutting off a healthy plant in just water!!! This is OLD stuff, not just for cannabis, but for all plants.

^^^^Had about 6 cuts of Basil too much for dinner one night, through the extras in a glass of water in the kitchen window, two months later they are happy and all i've done is add water when it goes low, huge mass of roots in the bottom 1/3 of the glass mug lol, we can't forget we're just dealing with another plant, they all live by more or less the same rules.

It's why I mentioned the Aloe, the same rooting compounds in willow are found in aloe, and you don't have to mess around with dealing with the willow....Just find a jug at the health food store that does not contain sodium benzoate
