Its a shame most things in life come down to how big your wallet is.

Depends on your surroundings and where you dwell. If you live in a city then most likely everything will be determined by whats in your wallet, its how the quality of life goes in those places. But if you live away from the city, life is more likely to be simpler and money far less important, though still necessary yet not completely.

I'd like to hear some good examples.

How were you able to reply to me? You have internet, how do you have internet? You pay for it. Alright so that is a pretty bad example lol...

Seriously though, the main thought I had when I posted this thread for some replies is medical care. Hospitals n shit. So many people around the world have lost their family, friends, whoever. Simply because they could not afford it. Don't get me wrong I understand hospitals need money to keep running, stay up to date and all that. I just don't understand how we have passed the point that a human life is not worth saving because someone doesn't have enough money to care for them. How do you go tell someone they are going to die because their bank account isn't big enough? Or their insurance wont cover them. ''Well we have everything ready to save your life, but your card was declined sorry have a nice death.'' Last time I checked, the point of a hospital is to care for people and save lives. Not make a profit.
Now an argument can be made, like if hospitals did that for everyone they would be broke eventually. There would also surely be people that would try to take advantage of not paying for stuff... Honestly, I have no comeback for that. I have no alternative solutions for what is going on. However just because I cant think of one doesn't mean someone else cant someday. Yes, some people dig themselves their own hole by not being responsible adults and blowing all the cash on stupid things. That is their own fault. There are plenty of people though who have done no wrong and still get shafted.
I just think its fucked up that peoples loved ones are dying everyday and they are powerless to do anything about it. You may say hey bud that is just how life goes. Go ahead and say that to someone who is in that situation, see how easy it is then.

We don't have that problem here in the uk we have the national health, but people have a lot of issues with that at the moment they say the care is crap and the hospitals don't have enough staff because of the cuts from the government, and this is true my daughter is a nurse and she always complains their not enough staff. However they do their best, people with money have private health care they are the same doctors that treat you but you don't have to wait so money does talk no doubt.

now smart people save this extra 125 x12 =1500 per year saved... just by living as you live currently
Smart people realize that a %5 raise isn't a %5 raise, it's an inflation adjustment. Unless your getting paid in gold bullion, you'll be lucky to even live like you currently do.

I have been skint and loaded in many situations and money doesn't make much difference AS LONG as you have enough to survive.
A couple of years back, I lived in a 20+ room house, £5million property alone and employed a cleaner 15 hrs a week to look after it! Unfortunately I also crawled in at 11 p.m most nights and left at 7am, 7 days a week so what was the point? It was going to kill me and I knew it. My g/f didn't want to live with me becaue I was never there. I once saw her only 5 times in a year!
Well, thats all gone now and I'm skint living in a 1-bed flat with the g/f. I've also put on 2 stone (was well underweight). Would I go back? No. Money is no use if you're dead.
