Its Good To Be Back! My Second Grow.

Alrighty-- 7 weeks things look good. The sativa's are finnaly getting frosty, despite being full of seeds. indica 1 looks frosty as ever, but trichs under microscope look clear. The Sativa 1 clone i am lsting is a monster lol. So much nice green growth, it seems to really like the compost mix it is in. Clones are looking healthier, but i am wondering if they are not going to get any taller because i took em so late in flower? we will see. JB's liked thier food, but i culled the smallest one.

Those plants are looking beautiful !! Super jealous but also a fantastic reason for me to just keep on going. For me, Indica 2 looks AMAZINGLY YUMMY !!!

Thanks FT, hey i know you have your issues but its a continual process. If you keep growing i am sure it will be like anything else, after a couple of grows youll have it down and it will be killer buds every grow! Me, i am hoping to get a 2-3 plant per week perpetual hempy sog going. I am a long way away but i KNOW ill get there. And if i keep typing it on this forum over and over ill guilt myself into making it happen

Looks nice. I also love a sativa, always been cautious since I have heard they are more temperamental and obviously they take longer to flower.

At least you will have some seeds

A good sativa high is hard to find these days. Seems like everyone wants get knocked on thier ass and go to sleep. Or they are using it for pain and thats why. Me, it does a number of things for me but i need it to be a speedy, creative, happy upper kinda weed that normally comes with sativas. With these i am sure they are some kind of weird ass hybrid. they could even be good genetics as i used to smoke some killer weed and these seeds are from back then.

Looking great DB. I love the look of Sativa 3, she looks super fat. I still think Indica 1 is my favorite, nice coloring and super frosty. Looking forward to your harvest mate.

ME TOO!!! its killing me but all thr trichs look clear to me. I need to harvest that indica 1 so it will be ready to smoke for my vacation! lol. 2 of the coals are really fat, there is one indica 3 which i keep forgetting to photo that is huge and sativa 3, the one i accidentally supercropped lol. I need to chop soon though, the clones in flower need to get closer under the 150s, and i need to make room for that MONSTER lst pot, its gonna need a 150 by itself. And im planning on taking more clones to go into the room when they root in to weeks when i top today/tomorrow lol.

No one wants to wait the 12-14+ weeks it takes to properly flower a good sativa I guess. I was lucky to get a good harvest on my last grow so I will have plenty to last me through the next harvest, even after giving a couple zips to may brothers and making 2lbs of budder.

Darth, I read and I subbed. I was sitting there sweating it out with you for a while. Makes me think that as a first grow I might just do one maybe two max, so that I can keep up. I am starting out different than you in a way, my seeds are new, one I'm thinking of starting is a auto white widow to get juices flowing and maybe the skywalker og kush fem. just cuz I can. Biggest worry up here is if something happens, I can't just run down to the store and get an emergency fix, I gotta order it and have it shipped. Here's to hoping I have some of your luck!

Right?! i have 3 hydro shops, 2 within 30 minutes, the last within 1hour from here. And in the spring/summer i have garden centers so as long as i stock up for winter i am set. Truth be told Dharma, i know i am not living it so its easy to say, but yours is a problem i could stand to have.. hopefully not long from now i will be living in the mountains sweating it out till i can go pick up my shipment from the store because ups doesn't go up the roads lol.

I know, I know.. It is probably still too early, but indica 1 has the misfortune of both looking gorgeous and looking closest to done, and I want to have some of my own smoke for vacation. So today I put it in my dry box, I'll give it 24hrs of dark and tomorrow at 5pm ill chop it and hang it! I know it will be some crazy smoke right, just look at it. The tester bud I had off of indica 2 at week 5 was good, and it didn't look anything like indica 1 did at week 5 so I think I should be happy.

It'll dry for 3-5 days and then it's into the mason jars with the boveda and cure until we go in August.

You know, I think everyone of my seeds including skywalker og kush-reserva privada, northern lights #5 x haze-sensi seeds, northern lights-sensi seeds, and auto white widow- vision seed, are all mostly idica's. Had I done some research, I might have substituted ot thrown in some high grade Sativa. My needs are two-fold though, pain, and sleep comes hard with flashbacks and night terrors. Maybe fate let me pick the indica's for that reason? Darth, with those symptoms, would you have any other strain suggestions?

The other question is my Northern Lights from sensi is a male. Do I need to grow that by itself to avoid issues I don't know how to handle. Being male, am I correct I can't clone it for more plants?

Hey Jeff,

So i think indica is the right way to go for night time, a strong one. I don't know what it will do for the FB/NT, but to get to sleep it would be pure indica with high CBT. Look into the medical strains that have been engineered for CBT as apposed to THC for sleep/pain.

If your FB/NT come with daytime symptoms or depression, i would go for a sativa leaning hybrid. I think your space puts you out of high sativa content. I have heard that people email Sannie of Sannies seeds all the time and ask for recommendations with good results. I am going for sannies Blue Rocket because its supposed to be a rocket high I like me speedy creative happy weed. I am going for sannies Jackberry because it is said to be a great daytime smoke for depression. Sannie's seeds are very reasonably priced as well.

Hi all, no pics yet but wanted to post an update before i forget all that has been done:

First and foremost, Indica 1 is hanging in the dry box. After 24hrs of dark, i cut her about 4 inches from the last budded node, chopped all the fan leaves and any large sugar leaves i could see in the semi dark, and hung it. Ill trim the rest before i weigh and jar.

I trimmed up a whole bunch fan leaves from the LST plant. I had to just to see what the hell was going on and that to train. its a monster, i hope it doesnt hermie like its original!

The LST indica 1 clone that I will be using for a mom is doing great. It was supposed to be a "main-line" but the growth pattern is already uneven so im just straight lsting it. Its growing a good 6 tops right now as is. The other day i took a clone from her.. Clone of a clone of a hermie.. that will be good stuff huh?! lol.

Did i mention i topped the JBs a little bit ago? The tops are in the "gladwareclone2050" in peat pellets. We shall see, if they root im gonna toss em in 2L hempy buckets and either feed them the neuts i have, or pick up a bottle of neptunes harvest and feed with that all the way through (can see im really invested in these eh?) The real goal is to see what plant is what, cull 2 of the 4, and move on.

You should grab some good genetics from online. Looks like youre doin good with random seeds you find so if you had some bred seeds youd kill it.

That is the goal. I am dialing in with cheap stuff, bagseed and the last of my white label double gum. My first hemp run will be clones of this "JB" bagseed and the clones from my mommy indica. Assuming that all goes well, I'll cull all but the best male and female JB, buy some sannies blue rocket and be on my way to space lol.

Sorry no pics. Shit hittin fans everyware, no time to get in there before lights out.

I chopped the two hermies. They just kept self polinating and it wasnt doing me any good keeping em in there, so Sativa 1 and 2 are now in drying. Indica 2, indica 3 and sativa 3 have 1-3 weeks left im guessing. The clones I have flowering might go another 4-6 weeks. Its hard to tell if im getting any verticle growth out of them.

I gave the lst girl a hair cut to thin her out a bit. Shes a monster, one of those crazy growth pattern re-vegged flowering plants im guessing.

The leaves on the jb's look a little odd. will have a pic soon.

Mommy-I is growing me a ton of clones.

Indica #1, dried, trimmed came out to just under 1/2oz on the postal scale (surprisingly accurate, measured it against a digital scale in grams before). Anyway, my guess is about 12-13 grams. I am happy with that number for my first plant to make it through a grow without deficiency! Its great too. I jarred it up with 2 small boveda's and I am going to leave it there until vacation! Ill measure again after cure.

Took another smoke off of sativa 1 after it dried. nothing... no high at all. Gonna put it into cure see if it makes a difference but i doupt it, all the plants energy went into seeds and pollen
