i'm not going to hurt it. it just showed up. one minute there was nothing the next...... i thought it was a dead oak leaf then i was like, wait a minute i'm not growing oak.

if it eats anything or lays an egg it's over though. i will throw it outside!!!

Bugs in garden=bad

well most bugs, me personally i usually around fall will gather a bunch of lady bugs that are trying to invade the house anyway and put them in the garden. I have never had a bug/pest/insect problem since i introduced my lady bugs, plus they dont eat the gonja which is a good thing
Come to think of it, ive been lucky/blessed and never have had bugs or insects in my garden.

Army moths (i think they are called that?) are very common and are known for damaging farmers' crops. I don't know for sure but the one in your pic looks very similar.

Was bored and just googled moths and the first site said this, "Female moths rarely fly until they have laid most of their eggs." That could explain it not moving.

I forget the name but are pretty common outside but like stated if it lays eggs it will be in the stalk and the larve will eat the plant from inside out its a bad guy set it free
