i guess that they mean 1-2 drops and does this really work first time i have heard of this any one tried this thanks
It helps. I feed my plants bloom nutrients before I cut clones and then put a mild bloom solution into my aero cloner and it works every time. This is a common recommended practice. Don't listen to people that say that the plants don't take up water without roots. Put a cutting in a glass of water and one in an empty cup. Only one will wilt. In my cloner I use a 150-200 ppm solution. Mainly bloom nutrients and then an additive.i guess that they mean 1-2 drops and does this really work first time i have heard of this any one tried this thanks
This is not accurate. The plants still take in nutrients through the stomata. Hence being able to do foliar feeding. The clones need nutes to grow and develop properly. I do want to know how much bloom to use for rooting clones though! No need for nutes. No roots to take em up. Tap water will be just fine. I just use tap water with 100% success.
Tap water has trace minerals that are micronutrients for plants ie chlorine, calcium, iron, etc. Clones need nutrients, as they are growing new tissue.I'm in the "no nutes until rooted" boat. Just be sure your tap water is the correct pH and actually decent water. My city tap water has trace arsenic and crazy high pH (like mid to high 7's) so it has damaged and killed my clones/seedlings before I knew how shitty it was.
None.I do want to know how much bloom to use for rooting clones though!
I wonder how all of us that root with water only have such great success?Tap water has trace minerals that are micronutrients for plants ie chlorine, calcium, iron, etc. Clones need nutrients, as they are growing new tissue.

Well, like I said, there’s stuff in tap or well water. Not the case if using RO.I wonder how all of us that root with water only have such great success?
Bro, you not listenin’. It’s ok though. There’s trace minerals and micros in tap water that are beneficial for plants. RO is not that way. Nice roots!Rooted with tap water only

Lol I know. But I’m looking for the answer. I am out of what I normally use - a root excelurator and clonex rooting solution in RO. I’ve heard of a low dose of bloom being good due to the P and K. Not any helpful responses thus far.Holy necro post batman lol
