Wtf I have been robbed. One of my gardens got ripped off .... but they were kind enough not to fuck with any of my plants?? Insted they took a little giant latter and a 1/4ish oz a lighter and a glass pipe ( they hit up the special drawer in the green house). I never took anyone bk there so not sure how they stumbled upon it but fuck it. I went shopping and posted the shopping list on the green house door.

Yea would be nice but cabelas doesn't have any but I am thinking mastiff or a pair of german shepherds .... choices choices but n all fairness I live n bum fuck egypt so I am just going to find out wich of the 8 hillbillys that live around me has a new little giant latter

Mastiffs make the best guardian dogs. No one would get near your shit.

Please educate a dumb European as to what a "Latter" is? I know what the term means, I even googled it to see if there was a possible product called a latter, but for the life of me it is still belonging to another time period....?????

Good luck catching the bandits, Yeah in Ohio your allowed to shoot someone if they come onto your land, or try to make it into your house. Not even sure if a warning shot is needed before they catch lead in them.
 
Mastiff's would be a poor investment they are oversized dogs that do not live very long and are no where as athletic or aloof at your other choice. 1 German Sheppard will guard your area and if trained well will gleefully chase off if not kill anyone who comes near their area. However check state laws about liability. If you're not supervising a guard dog they can go overboard easily. Doberman is another choice. They are notorious. They've just fallen out of fashion. They have sharp teeth and athletic bodies. I'd go with the Sheppard though, they have it all and they are very intimidating. Male not fixed is the key.

The probably didn't take your plants because they're not ripe yet... So expect them to return before harvest to help you with the harvest. I would move those plants, if possible, or spend a lot of time at home.
 
best dog would be a great pyrenees. raise it in your garden, no affection until its a full grown dog, and he will protect your plants. expecially when the dog thinks your giving affection to the plants. there not TOO big but look it, dont eat as much as a german shepard, and they have a pretty scary bark.
 
So let me get this straight. If a neighbor kid loses a ball in your yard & hops the fence, you can shoot her? Just for coming after her ball?

That's weak! I think I'll stay in Cali where she actually has to be a threat. It's much safer!

i dont know what kind of great pyranees u have seen but they are far bigger than german shepards and will eat a lot more... and the no affection until full grown is also bullshit. if ur dog dont like u its not goin to protect u. u can give it all the affection u want just dont let it meet anyone else besides those that live in ur home.

i think 200lbs is a bit of a stretch... he looks about 150 at best.
