Hey everyone and welcome to my first journal here at RIU. This is my second attempt with autos with my first ending with 2 oz off 2 blackstones. This time I have a unknown auto at day 33 and a dark devil at day 16. I'll be using the Mars hydro 2x2 tent and the Mars2 400w led. Soil is roots organic original and nutes are general organics GO box. I also have 3gal root maker pots.

Looking good, tuck leaves under bud sites when you can and you will end up with a more even canopy.

Thanks for stopping in and for the tip. I had been trying to do some lst as well but she got big too quick lol. About 8 inches in 4 days. I'll be sure to keep the leaves tucked from now on.

Happy to have you tipper. I had her tied down for the last few weeks but cut her loose the day before yesterday. I'll tie her back down and see what happens. I just put another dark devil seed in some papertowels. I can't wait to see how these turn out.

Train them early and keep them pulled down this tension will help them grow a strong trunk and manifold for holding up heavy buds.You WANT your plant to do this early,not waste the energy to do it in flower.

Well I tried to get some shit done before work so I get a few branches tied down and realize I have to hurry, so I pick up the scissors and they fall out of my hand and right on my dd. Hit just right where it snapped everything down the right side of the stem. I'm such a moron lol. So I guess I'll have all day to wonder if it's going to make it or not. On the bright side I still have 3 dd seeds but it does suck.

Top man she will love you for the lst just keep on top of it a little each day once u got the shape you wan I'm day 39/40 and still tweaking them, get the most out of these 600hps lights

I hear ya Tip. Came home and it's not as bad as I thought. Stem isn't split I just lost a fan leaf and a budsite. Thank god it wasn't worse because it easily could have been.

Hey everyone I know it's been awhile but I'm back for another update. The unknown auto is now at day 61 and starting to come to an end. All the bigger leaves have yellowed up and fell off. Can I still use the yellow leaves to make butter? That's my plan with this one to use all I can for a big ass batch. The older dark devil is 44 days old and quickly got out of hand on me. I don't think I've ever seen a plant where the main cola was shorter than the side branches. But it looks amazing to me I've never seen anything this purple. And finally my smaller dark devil is day 19 and just started shooting pistols. Gonna try to stay on top of this one and keep all growth as even as I can. Let me know what y'all think.

Anyone know if I can use the leaves that died off to make butter? Or do they have to be the green leaves? Also can I chop up the stems really fine and use them?

Don't chop up the stems. If you're using stems for any edibles/tinctures/whatever, it's only the sticky shit on the outside you want to extract. Chopping up the stems would just make everything you make taste green and grassy.

Really, the only leaves you would want to use would be the nice, small frosty ones near your buds, they should be covered in trichomes. The bigger fan leaves will not be worth much to you at all.

What's up everyone lots of things have happened since the last update. The unknown auto yielded 33g. The dark devil is now on day 64 and the smaller dark devil is on day 37. I'm about to put my last dd seed in a papertowel today so I'm trying to figure out what to get next. I'm thinking the black cream from sweet seeds but not positive yet. I'm open to all suggestions if anyone can recommend some good auto strains. Thanks for stopping by.
