Does anyone have experience using general hydroponics brand nutrients? I ran into one of their vendors at my local hydro store, and after talking to him for 20 minutes about his brand and my plants he decided to give me their complete line of nutrients and stuff. Should i actually use it?

So i have a question about hps lights. Will a 600 watt hps grow more potent buds than a 400 watt hps? Or will the higher wattage just give you a larger yeild but same quality?
Sorry for such a newbie question guys

Joe is right. I have 2 -600's and I find myself running at 75% 1/2 the time. Plants are more tolerant. You can tell when you have 600 watts too close

The bud sites are looking pretty good and they have such a great smell to them. I just built this new led panel and it is off the hook! There is so much light penetration and barely any heat, its crazy. These pics are from the testing phase, i had it rigged from the roof of my garage and left the fixture on for 24 hrs to make sure it worked right, this thing made my garage look like a ufo was landing in there haha

Hey guys just a little update, i think one of my jacks is ready to harvest. She is showing 40 percent or more amber and is crazy dense and frosty. The other jack stillb needs more time though. Ill post some pics in a few minutes here. Does anyone have any advice on what to look for when deciding to harvest a sativa? And does anyone have any reccomendations on how to dry and cure?

Welp, in post #52 you posted some nice pictures of your fat ass lady friend, I think her surname is Herer....some call her Jack....AC/DC wrote a song about her?

Haha i see, thanks man. I figure its not bad for looking for a newbie like me using a diy led panel i built haha. I was going to harvest it in the next day or two

Do you guys think shes ready for harvest yet by how she looks? Its about 40 percent amber trichs and maybe 50 percent orange hairs. My other jack has little to no amber and very little orange hairs

Would need some close ups, but based on what you've posted I say not quite yet, but they are close. Do you NEED to harvest right away?

I need to harvest this plant at least by the end of the week because i have an 808 sfv that has almost like a duckfoot deformation that has outgrown my veg closet and i need to flip it to flower, but as of right now i dont have the room in my flower tent until one of my jacks is done
