Thank you very much! Yes, very important insights and experience. Much appreciated. :)
Oh yeah, before I did my res cleaning, I emptied the res, then flushed my cubes with RO, 10 seconds per cube, and measured the runoff until hit .1 EC, which usually took about 2 cycles. Halfway through flower, I started adding about 15 ml of 34% h202 to my flush bucket (5 gal) because the area between the panda film and the flood tray is always humid, and with my tent between 78-84 during lights on, I figured it was better to be safe than sorry. Not sure if ill do it again this round.

LED lights dont emit Infra Red light unless they are specifically designed to do so. IR raises the temp on the leafs surface higher than room temp, so where 78 would be ideal (in a broad general sense) for an HPS light, the flower needs something closer to 85 for the same effect with LED. I try to ramp my humidity up from low 40s in week one of flower to 60 when the plants really start blooming, and this time I will drop it back down to 45-50 for the last few weeks to keep the dreaded Boyritis at bay. Had to chop my first grow early because I noticed the very top coala the plant directly in front of my fan had the beginnings of bud rot. Chopped that nug off and harvested all 3 plants on the spot. This time around I am running at least 2 oscillating clip fans instead of one bulky motherfucker to insure my airflow is on point.

Last but not least, I didn't flush, but after learning how unnecessary 2.4 EC was for me, in the last week I ran jacks at .6 EC. Would have done it for another 2 weeks, but like I said, I caught the early stage bud rot and had to take chop early.

I've been suffering from what appears to be cal mag deficiencies. Growing in rockwool and LED lights. I JUST ran out of CaliMagic. Instead of buying more Cal-Mag, can I just bump up Part B and Epsom Salt? If so, by how much would you recommend?
Suspect some lockout. You've been using cal mag when also using calcium nitrate. Pictures for actual help.

I'm about at 2.4 EC, but tbh I don't have the experience to see something wrong with the plant and know what is wrong. Is it a deficiency or a lockout? etc.. There are so many variables with delayed and vague feedback loop, lol.
I'm spending the rest of the day preparing the flood and drain/nft table, and will keep your points and suggestions in mind as I progress. Thanks.

That's a bit of hyperbole.
They've introduced a couple of one-part dry nutes (tap and ro).
They don't sell any enhancers, exploders, etc,. nor make any dubious claims.
Not hyperbole at all, look at their new cannabis feeding schedules, they are trying to sell 6-7 bags of product depending on which schedule you go with. I love Jack's A/B, but it's obvious they are trying to profit off the "green rush" by copying the tactics of other cannabis nutrient companies, so, I guess, good for them? I'd rather see Jack's make money than AN...but most of us went with Jack's a/b to simplify our grow, while still being to adjust the formula based on stage of growth-you don't need 7 different bags to grow weed, that's just confusing for new growers and those extra bags aren't going to improve anyone's harvest.

The only way to learn is to do it. I burned my bud a bit, my buddy starved his a bit, and we both got high as bird pussy lol

Best of luck!

I've been using Mr Greengeans "Bloom booster" mix w/ MPK- Works as good or better than reg123, but no more purple stems!

The biggest variables to consider when deciding what EC to run are temperature and humidity; cooler and/or damper conditions need bigger EC due to lower transpiration.

This is why people's advice on the topic varies so widely.
Wow, by chance do you have a link to the science behind that? I have never heard this before, and I would love to know how it works.

There are articles all over the place on the topic, I've also experienced it. I think discussions about VPD come closest to discussing this phenomena directly.

My favorite nutrient maker actually has a line of "hot climate" formulas for greenhouse crops, made especially for those growers who operate in hot desert areas.

The central idea is that the hotter and drier it is, the more water the plants will need to transpire in order to manage their own temperature. That's why their nutrient strength requirements go down.

Wow, now that I think about it, that makes total sense.

Ah ok. Thanks for the info. I thought purple stems is a given. Can't seem to get rid of it.

If only I can get some Jack's MOST and MPK. I'm thinking to use MOAB instead of MPK.
Any fully water soluble micronutrient mix will work fine.

It's "MKP," which stands for for monopotassium phosphate. Mad Farmer's MOAB will just charge you a fuck ton more for the same thing. You get that sweet banana fragrance tho, so maybe it's worth it. Lol

Be careful with that stuff; it's strong and your plants really don't need much, especially not late in bloom.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm only thinking of MOAB, because I recently found a tub of it in my storage. I don't remember buying it, but, well, there it is. Do you have a cheap micronutrient mix that you recommend?

I've had good luck with Bio Genesis Mineral Matrix. Chelated, water soluble.

If you already have MOAB, use it but there are far cheaper place to get MKP. Use it sparingly and only around week 3 of bloom.

I'm voting that I'm a Jacks user because Masterblend is so similar. I've had excellent results. For my first grow I used a 27"x27" Mars tent and TS1000 light and got 8 1/2 oz of Triple Cheese.

For my second grow (currently in progress) I am scrogging a Mimosa x Orange Punch (currently flowering) in the Mars tent and also added a Vivosun 3'x3' with Maxsisun MF2000 light to try a perpetual autoflower grow.

I just harvested an LSD Auto, beautiful, smelly, sticky, frost covered flowers. The Mimosa scrog is flowering and so is my Skywalker OG Auto. I also have a Wedding Cake Auto growing in the auto tent. I was planning on running 4 plants in 3 gallon pots of coco/perlite in the auto tent but the Skywalker got massive so it will just be her and the Wedding Cake in there until there is more room.

I have had the best results by keeping it simple and just doing a light mix until they get big enough to fertigate to runoff, usually the first gallon. After that just bump it up to a full strength mix and that's it until harvest. Unfortunately, I didn't figure this out until the LSD Auto was going into flower and you can see that on her leaves. The plants that were behind her look great though and I don't think it will have affected the final quality.

The LSD Auto branches hanging there are about 2 feet long each and the one on the far left still had a second attached.

Does anyone have any insight on the purple stems? I've seen alot of mention of it but never a reason. I've been running the 321 for about 9 months now and even when my vegging plants seem perfect in every other way I always have the red stems. They turn back green once they start stretching in flower and it doesn't seem to hurt anything but just curious why
