Circular was for HID lights. LED lighting is more directional so flat walls work better, plus more room to work and they fit in square rooms without so much wasted space.

Yes he does. He adds some other stuff in too, like potassium sulfate. We all end up with a pretty similar ratio.
 
Hey whats up, can i use dyna grow in soil i been using jacks classic and bloom but i always get lockout, tried flushing but it turned my soil into a brick and killed 2 of my plants. Ive done a couple grows but same thing every single time lock out and my leaves go to shit and my buds go from frosty af to just mehhh and dry.any help is apperciated

i was looking at jacks because of the great price for a 25# bag but i'm using only maxibloom 5-15-14 w/ tapwater thru all stages of growth and 5-12-26 seems too high in K
 
yeah i don't want to have to add calcium or magnesium though, i prefer a complete 1 part nutrient. maxibloom works fine alone w/ tapwater even in coco under LED, prob going to switch to megacrop after it runs out

The problem with one part nutrients is that sulfates and calcium bind very readily, creating gypsum which is 97% water insoluble.

That's why two part nutes are so common. Just mix calcium nitrate into solution separately before adding it to the res. Do the same with the mix.

That's not so much of a 'problem' with one part nutrients as much as it can be an issue when trying to create one.

how do you take plants under 1000w and spread it out over 4000w in flower? the plants must be tiny when you put them into flower?

The problem comes when you compare how much nutrient you're getting for your money versus two part nutrients, and especially dry salts.

Anyone try Megacrop......Seems pretty good in veg for now.

Tupurroyal gold as in coco? you have to charge the new coco with cal+mag at transplant the new coco will suck it out of the plant if you dont!
