jacks Defoliation grow

You know the only way to justify this would be some side by sides. I'm going to start a thread with clones and grow out at least two with defoliating and just letting the other couple go. Looking good so far.

sounds like a great ideal, my clones should be rooted in the next 10 days so I will give it a go :)

I will be putting my plants in flower tonight
 
2 days in flower and my plants are going for it :)

now under 2 x 600w hps and the flower room is 50" x 70" and the plants taking up 70% of the room

good your here man but if your looking for a plant stripped of leaves, its not the way I grow, only remove fan leaves to increase airflow and get the direct light on the buds, complete darkness for 48 hours, tried it, don't think it made any difference on my plants but may work on some strains

yeh, I have had some great results by trimming the fan leaves off the top shoots, the nodes spacing is less and it slower the stretch down, in fact once I grow a plant and the main top was 6" higher than the side branches
so I removed all the fan leaves off the main top, it slowed the main top down, all the side branches court up in week 3 of flower, even had to pull the side branches down to keep the canopy level , so I still had the main top and all 6 side branches full of bud in late flower:)

done this in veg lots of times on small plants gives you lots of branches/tops here's some pic's

and I will upload some in flower and the harvest tomorrow if you would like to see them

my plants are about a week in flower and I have now put a screen on, just to hold them in place, the room too long (6ft) to do a full scrog also removed a lot of fan leaves and lower shoots
