Yeah I meant Yara. Haifa is the MKP manufacturer.

How have you been tty? I have been good. Took a break from growing for a bit when I went out to Colorado for work training for a couple weeks in May. Back at it though.
You know I live here, right? You should have dropped me a line!

Now I know this is going to be biased being in this thread and all but...anyone here switch to jacks from GH running hydro? I'm currently running GH and it's not that I don't like it I just want to try something new to mix it up a little. I'm running hydro I assume you can with jacks?

I switched to Jacks from GH a few years back. I didn't like Jacks (321) much either. I now make all of my own nutes and using Hydro Buddy, I can change the elemental content to my heart's desire while still spending less than buying into Jack's In fact, I discourage all branded blends. I made my own PH perfect regimen that I can still change as the seasons change while still keeping the mix PH perfect.

Links to all materials are in the video description if interested in pursuing this path. For a near lifetime supply for any hobby grow costs less than $200 USD before shipping from Missouri. Can't beat that with a bat!

I love my basic, cheap nutes. I'm Canadian so I use a Canadian equivalent that is shculz (sp?) It's great stuff I bought a tub a few years ago and it's been great. They have 2 variations I usually get, "all purpose 25-8-20" and "tomato 18-10-30" they both have Micros in decent quantities. I also had a opportunity to buy some cheap pro mix water soluble 20-10-20 mycoactive for 10$ and said why not, so I have so much plant food I am good for many many runs.

The pro mix is claimed organic, but I don't really care that much one way or the other.

You can mix the epsom and the hydroponic mic in one bucket and the calcium nitrate in a separate bucket, then add them both to your res.
Jacks finish isn’t used with cal nitrate part B. It’s just Finish +’Epsom salt. There is no separate cal nitrate. It’s a two part instead of a three part .

i found i needed to cut jacks finisher with some jacks 20-10-20 stuff i use in veg to up the nitrogen abit, they got hungry towards the end when i cut nitrogen too hard.

Well its been quite some time since ive been back on this site i have been so busy here in oklahoma running commercial grow facilities, anyways i was a great friend to jack aka Im4satori anyways just before he passed we were working on some tweeks to the 321 recipe since his passing i have played with mixes of this wonderful product in a commercial setting and have came up with a pretty amazing mix that works perfect from clone to harvest without changing a thing so i will share it here for everyone to give it a try
all amounts are per hallon of water
Agsil 16h Silica = .30 grams per gallon
Peters or Jacks 5-11-26 or 5-12-26 = 3.0 grams per gallone
Calcium Nitrate (Yara Liva) = 2.6 grams per gallon
Mag Sulfate= .30 grams per gallon
MKP = ,30 grams per gallon

I would say that I owe everything I know about salt mixing to im4satori and it saddens my heart to hear that he passed. I've since greatly expanded the topic of making one's own nutes from scratch and made a few vids for how to use Hydro Buddy, but I would've had none of that understanding but not for im4satori lending me his wisdom in a weeks long Q&A session of me picking his brain. My condolences to his family and friends.
