Jar humidity

Shit my harvests are wrecked then?

I dry my shit until it’s dry and no curing, burping, flipping or flopping.

My bag of wrecked weeds, because I’m stupid

Properly dried weed is ready to smoke. I don't cure my weed either as you know. I think it's a waste of time and I do not think it makes the weed better. It just makes it old. It's a scientific fact that terpenes degrade over time. It's like using oregano or basil for spaghetti sauce. You can use old but fresh tastes much better.
I never understood the curing debate that so many will get all upset about.

News flash.. If your bud smells like grass clippings before you put them in a jar, they are going to smell like grass clippings when you take them out.

Ive perfected my drying process. Smells great before dry, after dry, and taste great on day 1 or day 30. No curing, burping, or checking humidity. Dank in, dank out.

Unless you found a way to smoke quarter pounds all at once its curing.

I'm referring to the after harvest ritual some perform. Burping jars daily, etc... for weeks before they even smoke it. Some think it's ready after it's dry as I do. Others don't think it's ready to smoke until after they've been playing with it for weeks.

I think you missed the point.

Curing isn't essential. I read some shit on here that you have to cure your bud for 30 days or something stupid like that that before you can smoke it. Or the flavor is improved after a long cure. Measuring rh, burping jars, and all this nonsense.

Or the best is "to get the flavor back" a good cure is essential.

Honestly, the smell and taste is better the fresher it is IMO.

I hang my weed upside down in my tent and let it dry for 4 weeks at between 55 and 60% RH. 68F/20c. And I always end up with lovely weed that doesn't need curing, Just make sure you don't hang up too much in a small space like I did on my last grow, because you might run into mould issues while it's drying if it's too crowded :bigjoint:

Its all good, i smoke from when its dry til its gone a year later. Jarring just evens the buds out. As for thc, it takes three or more years for it to degrade if its stored properly. Tons of research studies on thc degradation.

From what I've learned on this forum, if you really want to cure your bud then it needs to be at Exactly 62% Humidity
