Javadog's Next Adventure

When I have real access to plants that have room to bush out, I find
that it is very easy to tuck fan leaves so that while that are still on the
plant and making sugars, they are under the nearby tops that get better
exposure.

I have my 4'X4' stuffed and so have as much buddage getting light
as I could hope to get, at this point.

I am not going to strip my babies, but I very much look forward to the
period after the first plants are taken, when I can lay a couple of these
monsters over to finish getting blasted. :0)

Thanks for taking the time.

Thanks for dropping in PW.

It is kinda quiet this week.

I did fed the ladies something interesting last night. I used
compost tea with some kelp extract, B1, and Neptunes Harvest added.

I may be letting off the feed for the early starters at some point
coming up...maybe the end of next week.

Take care,

JD

yea sometimes less does mean more lol. Now that I have some extra room in my tent, I have found it so much easier to manage the plants

I am still thinking about flowering just the four oldest of the next
set of plants. ....but as I watch the new plants acclimate to their
hempys, I am pretty sure that they will be ready in a month too.

The Chemdog is really fast. I am tying the Lemon Thai Kush to it's bucket.

I will post some new photos at the end of the Crop-Week, Monday.

Take care,

JD

Thanks for dropping in BW.

Yes, I am shooting for a Lemon Crop.

I have three interesting females that I got from the Cannaventure Mothers Mix
to flower also, but will have Lemon Juice Express and Super Lemon Thai too.

Onward and upward,

LA Confidential is a beautiful plant.

I am reminded of Qrazy Train.

...and, like QT, it might turn out that LA Con is not a giant yielder,
but I get the distinct impression that these buds are going to be
delicious.

I am editing some new photos....I just got a wild hair and thought to
try taking some shots right after the lights went off this morning,
using a flashlight for illumination.

Here is a sample. This is LA Con:

Hey,

I forgot that I had taken some shots of the Veg area.

I took a shot of the new sprouts to upload and found
the lot still on the camera:

Check out this Lemony looking birth mark on my Jacks Cleaner 2:

Here are the mature plants, three Cannaventure Mothers Mix and
one Soma seeds Somango:

I am going to take HSO's Lemon Juice Express around its bucket while the
current crops finishes:

(note that the FIM worked to a degree on this plant....there is a third top coming
from this plant, between the two main tops)

I love the BD's structure:

Girl Scout Cookies:

My only outdoor grow from seed, Kannabia Seeds Automatica Thai Fantasy:

I had to totally bury it among the other plants in the garden, so
I was expecting it to be eaten, etc, but it did finish. I should get
a few grams. :0)

..and here is the shot that got me started this morning:
11 New Seedlings.jpg

All eight of the new beans popped and have made it to their first pots.
(paper towel -> beer cup -> 6" pot)

I am feeding the new seedlings, taking tops, and watching the next
crop's plants. I expect them to be in the tent in a month. I will
likely have to chop the four mature mothers back a step, but I will
do this at least two weeks before the flip. They should turn into bushes!

Take care,

JD

My jack herer has a birth mark just like that lol.

Plants are looking very nice man. You seeing hempys staying in your future for a while?

Well, I *must* do better with the run-off.

I am still a bit in the dark when I water/feed, as I just
use a fixed amount and not until I see run-off.

...none of the ladies have shown a single deficiency, ever,
so everything seems pretty good.

I was serious about building a small platform for the tent to sit on.

Two tables that have legs I can adjust might do as well.

In any case, if I had just 12-18" below the floor of my tent to hold
a catch basin for hoses to run to, then I would be able to water to
run-off every feeding.

I am mulling over the options as the Crop in the tent finishes.

I am looking forward to tasting the new breeds.

....about three weeks to harvest, I am thinking.

Thanks for popping in.

Yea hopefully you don't pay for water! I know that has saved me a good amount of money...not having to pay to water plants i mean.

We pay for everything, and at the highest prices just about anywhere.

SDG&E hits us very hard. Rates jumped 40% just last month, as part
of some rate change.

They are talking about taxing us for moving about. Wow, what a stupid idea.

I am very interested in moving out of Cali, but my Compton born wife
will not leave this state. Ugh.
