Here is a photo of one of the new pots:
IMG_5082.JPG

I had to fork over some dough though....I got 36 of the things.

I intent to lay down some 6 mil film as one big saucer and just water lightly.

I essentially did this with a 6X6 array of 2 gallon smart pots in a past grow, did something
of a SOG of AK-47 and Somango and got my biggest single yield yet.

These containers are no more than 1.5 gallons, so I will not be growing monsters this year.

I did think about the 9 5 gallon buckets....I can make those big :0) but I needed more slots.

I have yet to find the container I really want...it wound be a 1 foot wide, square, with not
sloping/fluting of the sides at all. It would be 18" tall. (maybe 2 feet)

This would give it a tall profile rather than squat, this is good for air-to-roots.

I figure that one of these would hold a few gallons of soil. (I thought it came to
1.5 cft but that came to 11 gallons...that seems high)

Be On The Lookout! :0)

Good news on the change taking hold Bass.

That is great data BLJ. Thank you for taking the time. I think that it is not really rising
that much....it has stayed within about 20-40 PPMs from where it ended up after
the last water/feed.

Everything is looking as happy, or happier, than they have so far, and so I decided
at the beginning of the week that I am just going to leave them alone. I did put a dribble
of pH-Up in yesterday, but have honored my intent otherwise.

I will try to get a before-lights photo, as the HPS simply will not show vigor or greenness

JD
sounds like we are both getting dialed in.
20-40ppm sounds about s close as you can get.

I didnt see the pics headband looks like the one Im flowering right now

I have written an email to both US Plastics and ULine, to see about that size:

W 12" X L 12" X 18" H

We will see.

Pretty amazing....cannot fine a rectangular plastic bin at W 12" X L 12" X 18" H

The closest was that canvas box above....that and UTube videos about making
acrylic boxes by hand.....i.e. I have a better change of making what I need than
I have of finding it....

My son set an alarm to go off at midnight and then slept through its going off....I was
slowly and pissedoffedly driven awake to deal with it. I could not gert back to sleep and
so am taking a sick day. (I work hard...using the noggin,,,,and need to sleep before
I work a day like I work)

So, expect a few posts today. :0)

Right. I am not ready to start buying cut sheets of acrylic.

I am really, really doing very well in the tent right now.

I pHed the system to perfection and then when I needed to add
water I put nutes into it so as to leave the system where it was
PPM-wise and this worked like a charm.

Everything is making a lot of strong green growth.

The upload dialog is not working for me right now.

Is your older girl still living with you bassman? SHe must be getting old now. I can't believe how old my little one is getting.
Yeah she is 19 and in 2nd yr college now. She is saving money for a car and plans to move with her bf.
How is Hannah doing?
I hope I got her name right, my memory is so bad now!

You got it right, spelling and everything. She's doing great. A shame though as she's driving a giant wedge between my wife and I. Wifey and I have sorta hated each other since the day we brought Hannah home. Real downer. Ah well... Hannah's happier than a pig in shit, so we must be doing something right. And we aren't going to get divorced or anything, just might be living in separate rooms soon. :)

Hey, what strains did you like for your anxiety? I had someone ask me recently and couldn't think of anything good. All I could think of were the strains that give me anxiety lol.

Im sorry to hear about the tension at home Jiggy, hopefully it resolves itself with time.

I really like Chernobyl for a clear and uplifted high without paranoia.
Oh and SLH is great as well but a lil stronger bud imo., but still no anxiety
Weird thing is I avoided sativas as I thought they were the anxiety provoking strains I found them for the most part to cause less

Dude. You guys need to reconnect in a big way. Like a trip w just the two of you for a few days. I love you man and send healing thoughts to you and the Mrs.

Bubba kush.. Hands down for anxiety. Dog seems good too. Anything that takes you down a bit... Of course when it gets really bad.the benzos come out. Thank god haven't touched those.in several months. Rather just have weed only.

Anxiety sucks donkey balls... Especially panic attacks.

The original dog I grew a few yrs ago was an anxiety inducer for me at least. My daughter loved it one of her all time favorites, and it was some STRONG ass smoke for sure. she doesnt really get anxiety or bud though.

IMO. The longer you let them ripen the less anxiety it will induce. LA con taken early sent a friend of mine over the edge a bit. Same plant.left for 9.5weeks would put u in the couch numb...

My reasoning is thus:
As the trichomes go to Amber color they are actually degrading slowly. In this process a lot.of thca turns to the and also more cbd is produced simultaneously. Cbd is a known regulator of the thc high. Thc is known to cause anxiety or at least induce it.

I've noticed this even w sativa. Although Ime indicas have less natural propensity to cuase anxiety. Maybe because most.of the time they ripen faster??
