I took some shots of the tops tonight.

I think that I might wow you guys with the Somango this Crop:


The strong Veg period is making the Cannaventure Mothers Mix
plants all very strong as well:


The Blue Dream is really big:


The GSC photo is very pretty:


The Lemon Thai Kush is very bright green and pretty:


I still haven't settled on the ninth and last plant that will
be in the next Crop.

I think Ill be having to pop seeds for next run, when to start popping is the question though....?!?

Hey Z, thanks for stopping in.

The ladies are doing very well. I am experiencing the benefit of
a strong Veg period, with the Somango and three Cannaventure
Mothers Mix plants.

...and I am, once again, trying to Veg the next crop, with at least
four weeks to go.

This is a learning process, trying to work with new breeds, get a
feeling for what they are trying to do, and then to prepare a plant
to be ready in a specific window in time.

Only Super Lemon Haze and Martian Kush were so off the reservation
that I am not sure how/when they will be flowered. They both
shoot straight up so fast that I think that a SOG of them would rock.
....never going to commit an entire crop to this until I taste them though.

Bass, what was this about a Re-Veg ruining a breed for you? That was
the first time that I had read about that happening. How common
is this effect? I hope that your current Re-Veg efforts prove fruitful.

I probably said it wrong.
What I meant was that I have a high failure rate at re-vegging my plants.
I think 2 in 10 so far.
They are the same after reveg if they make it though.

OK. Yeah, that was odd. Musta been someone else.

I should have popped right up then, as this would be odd...sort
of a genetic drift, a la senescence. I am sure that the person was
suggesting that a Re-Veg left a plant changed somehow.

Had to dispel that one!

If you can get a Burpee Seed Tray for clones, then do. I can leave
a difficult breed in it's cell for weeks and weeks if it resists growing
roots. The moisture level is maintained by the wicking mat.

I may have to re-Veg CVMM #2 in case it turns out incredible.
I have only one clone of it and it is weak.

Other than 1 or 3 finger leaves for a while and a weird structure till it takes off no differences, except maybe a lil faster to mature

I like the explosion that follows.

I have seen a few online that ended up hilarious.

You saw the Veg closet. The clone table is practically fully:

The funny thing is that I will be hard pressed to move these up to
the next level, 4" pots. I will do this, and will manage, as there
will be half the Veg closet free in a few weeks.

You guys know my proclivities...I am wanting a stable of well vegged and
ready to support flowering (known sex). So, I am popping well in advance
of upcoming crops.

LOL, I have no intention of making the new Soma seeds wait. While I find
that my TGA and BB reg seeds are making males (only Jacks Cleaner 2 and
Smelly Cherry so far)

So, I will be popping both Soma's Lavender and his NYC Diesel as soon as
the peat plugs are fully hydrated.

BTW: I am feeding the Veg plants today.

The Cheese Surprise is a pig! I have given it almost a full gallon.

I expect that it is going to explode.

LOL. Damn. I might have to chop it too.

Right now the Sour Cherry is looking to also need some help,
and the Ace of Spade already had a trim.

Ah well, this is a learning curve.

Really, I will have to up-pot the six seedlings, but the clones will
be growing in the seedling tray until the first plants are harvested.

The upside is that as the plants flowering are taken, a new 5 gallon
hempy bucket will be taken from the closet. This will mean space for
3 or 4 smaller plants for each bucket.

I am posting my Dog in the dog thread, to see if they think
that I can wait the expected four weeks before I flip it.
