After smoking some of "The Purp" I am thinking... Presidents are like movies. The 2nd one is almost never as good as the first one and the third one is usually a made for TV movie buuuuuttt there is a slight chance it could be a blockbuster...

Rocky II and III were pretty epic.
The new Hobbit movie looks like a winner, but I'm holding judgement.
I can keep up with the Star Wars/Trek enough to know which one was third, but I'm doubting there is much difference.
But for the most part I agree completely. I was just thinking of exceptions.

hmmm good question. I would say that the 3rd Harry Potter movie was better. The third James Bond movie was fookin awesome (Goldfinger), The Army of Darkness (evil dead series, laugh your ass off movies). But my all time favorite has got the be the 'Good, the Bad, and the Ugly' which is the 3rd in the series of "A fistful of dollars" and "A few dollars more" of Sergio Leone's Clint Eastwood Spaghetti classics. Toy Story 3 might be on that list too. Also return of the Jedi was good.

Didn't know the Army of Darkness was part of that lol so bad it's good evil dead franchise.
The remake of the first evil dead was actually pretty solid.
