Jebus' Indian Haze and Brazil x KC grow journal

I gave her some water with Grandma's molasses last night and took these pics while I was at it. I may flush her again tonight. I feel like her buds all almost ripe. I'll keep checking the trichomes though.

Harvested on just before the start of day 71. I was a little worried she may be going hermie. I noticed some weird bud growth. Long stretching between the calyxes and weird looking extras which I assume were going to be pollen sacks. I think there is even a developing seed on the top of the main cola. Looks like its hairs were reaching into an adjoining seedpod that had something that may have been a banana barely sticking out. I gave her an extra two days after I saw this and didn't notice a change, but I didn't want to risk letting her blow up. There was just a little amber in the trichomes which is the way I like it. There were some fresh hairs popping out around her but there were also plenty of those weird shaped calyxes also. I think it was a good time to do it though, like I said I like a small amount of amber trichomes.

looks like a great harvest jebus, cant wait for the final weight and smoke report. hows your other girls doing, you still moving soon?

Okay so I ended up with about 23g of dried bud. I went out of town while drying it and it got extra dry but I rehydrated it and it's fine. It smells very grapey and fruity. It has a nice grape flavor also. The high is decent, but short. I think it just needs to cure a little. Overall it turned out alright. It was a good learning experience.

I want to make a tincture, but don't want to use alcohol. Can I use honey for one? I could order some vegetable glycerin also. Will honey work as a medium though?

I don't know man... I guess if its high fat, then it should decarbolyze.

Someone was telling me you could put a 1/2 - 1 gram bud in water and bring to boil and then simmer, you could just eat it, or cut up and mix as you would. He mentioned a latte, and I trust this person to be telling the truth.
