I havent fine trimmed the first crop yet but I have shaken all the leaves thus far and got a good amount of kif. It was in just a kif box shaker so I got some plant matter in it. no biggie. the buds are drying great. Im going to remove them from the stem and trim them up, then its in jars with the lid off for another day or 2. then they're getting sealed up and another girl (jekyll) is coming down (sunday or monday)

that kif gets me super high. Im really fucking shocked. the high only lasts 30 minutes to an hour but its very strong, I feel it in my face lol. Yumbolt 47 was always like the guinea pig and its making be pretty happy. and I never flushed it..so.

I heard of putting the plant in the freezer for a short while before giving it a little shake...

Hell yea brotha congrats! Instead of drying for a couple days in a jar you might want to throw it in a paper bag so it drys a little more evenly, I've done it in the jar for a while before I figured this out lol... Either way you will be straight, wait until that shit cures!! Dankness!!

I will keep that in mind when the other two come down treez! but I think ill pass on flushing. Ill just make sure the run off ppm stays at a nice level throughout the life of the next generation. I had the chance to be with the jar all the time so i think i got it to dry out nicely. the nugs are small but they have some nice density to them! Very nice trichome covering, im so damn impressed. I just woke up and took two hits again (wake and bake with it every day to see how it is lol) and im very high, in the head. which is crazy because we made a bunch of oil last night from some really good 'citrus' bud (not local) and I took way too many dabs lol, i woke up with that high hangover, but this bud still got me blazed. I cant wait for the other girls.

I let the sugar trim dry out in tuperware for a few days and then I threw it in the freezer for a few hours, pulled it out to make sure its actually dry, and then back in until I shake. I just got a 90 micron BubbleBag. gonna do mostly dry ice hash but I wanna experiment with a few different methods too

but Im so sold on oil lol now that I bought all the stuff to do it... the process is fun and I love the first scrape seeing how much you're about to get lol

dont worry Im not smoking all this shit before it cures! i just have to know im doing it right! this way I can leave the jekyll and sour alone until a month after curing starts (or so i hope..)

I'm picking up my first set of bags hopefully soon, I was actually wondering if the ebay bubble bags where worth the money or do I need to fork over 3 bills for the bad boys..?? I've made it a couple times with friends before but I'm not sure what brand they where.. Pretty sure the cheap ones though.

Yea flushing is way overated lol.. Well for 2 weeks in the most cruitial point in the plants life, flushing for a couple days is the way to go IMO. I still don't stress flushing at all though, my recent blackberry is probably the best bud I've grown and I didn't flush her before I cut so the proof is there if you try it.

yeah I smoked some oil about a year ago and loved it but recently my buddy started making his own and coincidentally met someone who made really great oil and gave him pointers which were passed on to me. I got my own gear to make it and experimented with a half o the past couple days. the extractor i bought came with two adapter ends which lets you pass on using a filter as it holds all the plant matter in. did about 8 runs and tried different techniques throughout. its worth the work I think.

so i bought a bubble machine with bags from ebay used it so far to do about a lb of bubble and as long as you take care of the bags they are awesome and i spent 199.00 on the machine, bags and press just a fyi if u want link to the seller send me a message

jekyll coming down today, 3 weeks later than expected. it was supposed to be an 8 week strain. do you all count day 1 of flower as the first day you see pistils popping out? anyway, its still not 50/50 amber but I want it down so I can get the other round going, its crimping my style and im not trying to have anything to worry about over the summer so I can travel and what not.

jekyll is so fat and its leaves are still green as green can be. Sour is losing its chlorophyl making it look like I cant grow for shit lol.

I count usually from the first day I flip the lights. That is a good question.

can't wait for a smoke report.
