with blunts and jays, anything will do

with pipes on the go, a standard bic is cool

with bong rips, i take all butane out of the equation and use a glass firing rod...like a glass rod with a glass ball at the end...heat the glass ball (by torch or by laying it in a fire for 5 minutes) and then just touch the ball to your medicine...the heated ball fires the erb, no butane taste...mmmmmmmm
 
but to clear up the lighter issue...

theres a brand called CRICKET that makes suuuuuuper smooth lighters...hands down the best

Bics > crickets
Crickets have the weird spinner thing attached on both sides of the striking wheel.
Bics version of the safety is a metal stripe that runs down the center of the strike wheel. You can pop those out mad easy with a car key. Cant pop off those extra wheels on the crickets tho...

dont know if we got the same cricket...the ones i get never have safetys...always smooth
 
YO the best lighters are Djeep lighters!!! they are sturdier and more reliable than bics and have an adjustable flame

so glad you posted that...that IS the best lighter...couldnt think of the name earlier so i posted Cricket..

those Djeep lighters are soooo smooth and the oversized button makes it so your fingers never get burnt while ripping a bowl
 
Zippos are by far the best, they don't taste *any* different from Bic to me, and they stay lit w/o you having to hold down the dumb little nobby thingy. WAY better.
