Jiffy Pellets too wet?!?

Hey, guys. Earned some experience points doing some hydro; DWC hydro is the only method I've ever used. I'm now in a situation where I can do a guerrilla grow outdoors but nothing indoor.
My question is this: I am attempting to germinate in jiffy pellets. I've never used them (I'm quite adept with rockwool, though I've none at the moment). So... is it possible that my jiffy pellets got too wet?

It hasn't been four days yet... I know I'm being a bit impatient. I would still like an answer to my question though. Is it possible to get jiffy pellets too wet?

Yes they can be too wet. You don't want them soaking.

Yeah, methinks I may have messed that up. I still have some more beans... but I'm only a few days in, they could still sprout. If they don't I'll try again and make sure they're at a more desirable level of moistness.

Yes they can. Soak jiffy then squeeze so excess water comes out.. keep moist not wet.. I lost a few seeds some years ago through doing this..

If they're too wet you might be able to set them on some paper towels to wick some of the water out.

Two of them sprouted. They've only been sitting since just before or after midnight of 6/15/18. Hopefully the moisture wasn't too much. Again, my mistake, I won't try to germinate in them while they're so saturated next time. All but the left three on the front row I've had outside of ideal storage condition for a couple years or so... they may not germinate or may just need a little bit longer. I've got five more autos sitting the the fridge as backup... plus some more old seeds. Here's hoping that all is well.

You ain't alone here in this misery regarding germinating marijuana seeds. I only really have issues during the winter months...it's like the seeds know how cold the dew point is. During the summer months and late spring, put seeds in sand and they seem to sprout, not so much in the fall & winter months. I know seeds don't think, but intuition or nature has her ways. As far as Jiffy Pellets, they're great for starting plants, but you really have to keep the parameters steady and constant, be like the temperature, moisture and amount of light they are exposed to...it's like Goldilocks and the porridge...not too hot, not too wet...good luck.

Try a bit of hydrogen peroxide mixed with the water...16:1 water: hydrogen peroxide ratio...that'll kill any microbes that harm seedlings...

moisture level is everything in them pellets. too wet and you will never see the roots , too dry and you will never get any roots. Just right and roots come FAST.
I squeeze out the extra moisture like xtsho said , like all of it then i regulate with a spray bottle.
