JillyBean x Pineapple Express...worth a shot?

I have a question I'm hoping someone here can help me with.

I had some JillyBean plants throw a few bananas and they pollinated my G13 Pineapple Express. My question is...are the seeds more likely to be female now because the pollen came from a female plant, or is that only something that only happens when a bud is pollinated from the same plant the pollen came from?

Also, do you think it would be worth it to grow out the seeds? I know there wouldn't necessarily be any stable phenos, but they are both good plants.

Any advice is appreciated!

yes, they will be all females from these seeds. the problem with stress hermis, is that there offspring will have a higher chance of goin hermi on ya during any amount of stress.

are they worth growing thou?
ya gotta ask yourself a couple questions.... do you grow fem seeds? are you ok with your next crop possibly being seeded?

for me personally, they would go in the trash. i do not grow fem seeds. period. the possiblity of pollinating my next crop is reason enough. there are many other strain that dont toss nanners out there for me to grow with simaler traits.

if ya just want to have fun, then go for it an get 'em poppin. you might find a winner. i'd think a gorilla grow would be the perfect place for em, and your main crop would be safe from hermi contamination.

Thanks for the reply and great suggestions Petey! I really do appreciate it. I think a gorilla grow is sounding good. While I do grow feminized seeds, the only one I've had throw nanners was a regular seed (Jilly Bean). None of my female Super Lemon Haze, Sharksbreath, OG #18 or Strawberry Cough hermied. Odd huh? I don't know what happened with that Jilly Bean but my environment is a sealed room and the atmosphere conditions are always perfect (30-40% humidity, 78 degrees). Oh well, I guess it's worth a shot. Especially when seeds cost so much these days. Who knows, like you said....Maybe I'll find a winner!

yeah it is a bis odd, but i have hurd that Jilly occassinally herms on people. i cant say personally because im still on my first run of jilly an no nanners yet. i will keep an eye out thou. good luck on your grow.

So nice to hear this about Jill have manners all over top cola at seven weeks in...also found a few on its clone which is three weeks in...well now its one hour in, in a black trash bag, lol... shouldn't laugh it made me sick... just went and checked on my four week into flower plushberry ( tga) and found one manner on tallest bud, just plucked it... but what's the deal I thought tga was stable ???? Soooooo annoyed with All the mis information!!!!!
