Jock Horror + Northern Lights Autos [Hydro/600w HPS - 12/12 grow]

I guess ill do another grow journal for my new girls.

Unfortunetly they have to go under 12/12 because I am blooming a Blueberry Kush in there also and it is not an auto.

Also because I have another section next to that with a 250w MH Hortilux blue lamp going on @ 18/6 on another plant.

However, they were under 18/6 dual spectrum 600w lights for a few weeks since they sprouted before i changed to 12/12.


as of today 09/16/10 these 2 autoflowers have started vegging Sep 5. before that, they were baby sprouts rooting. I cracked the seeds on August 5th. So you can see it took a month for them to grow plenty roots in order to enter vegging cycle and start to actually grow.

I might be wrong about how I am collecting my dates , correct me if im wrong because this is only my 2nd grow.

BTW these 2 where free seeds I got with my order from Attitude...


FEEDING SCHEDULE:

Advanced Nutrients:

Micro, Grow, Bloom
giving them 10ml each every 4-5 days

sensizyme
10 ml

Big Bud Liquid
10 ml

B-1 Fertilizer Booster
10 ml


the sprouts where given good dose amounts of all because they were put in my tank that has 6 net pots, and I am growing 3 snowryder autos in there together with these. The PPM has been around 350-650 during their life.


I change Res water every 2 weeks and use RO Water.


Temperatures are high 60s to low 70s - fans on 24/7.

then here after a few weeks



then here after 1 month of growing roots, they blasted growth in a few days

ok so i decided to top both of them. topped them last night and here are the pictures of them topped

hehe, i will post pics until i harvest so check back. They are growing at very fast passe now. I will post new pics tonight, Looks like I will be getting 4 colas! Not sure though I could be wrong, but i will post pics and see if that's the case because it looks like 4 tops on top now after i topped it


But the thing is, everyone keeps saying these seeds they also received from attitude for free are said to be autos, but they are not autos.. Because if they were autos, we would see them flowering already, but they must be autoflowers because they are under 12/12 for weeks and have not flowered! so auto flowers will flower when they feel like it, and if it was not an autoflower then under 12/12 it would be flowering already?


well i will go by what the seeds where lableled and that is that they are autos.

a reg strain will flower under 12/12 after like 7 weeks a auto should start to flower in 2-3 weeks

ok their autos then starting to see them flowering they have some pistils, you cant see in the pic cause my camera sucks, one of them had an accident, broke a stem from the top that was gonna be a cola...

alright so i just recently was reading up on people who topped autoflowers and got some mixed reviews.. the only proof from anyone that i saw was someone who topped their auto and it did pretty good , the rest of the people just stated that since they have a set time and autoflower, they wouldnt have enough time to recover and the yield might be less.


well, no one who said this actually ever topped and autoflower or provided any proof to back up this guess

so , since i topped both of the autos they started to bud a few days later...


we will see how this grow will turn out.

they went thru a transplant.. the one on the left seems to stunted growth or its just smaller, i dont know which is which i mixed them up!! the one on the right looks like it got 3 colas (was 4 but i accidently broke one)


so there they are.. Flowering since 1 week ago today.

ok so here are some new pics

the big one is the northern lights, as i said in one of the posts previously is that i topped her and 4 branches grew, but i accidently broke 1 off!! so there it is, 3 branches and 1 that is shorter then the other 3 are growing off the main top of this Northern Lights

I tried to take the pics the best that i can with my crappy camera ;p


and the other smaller plant u see is the Jock Horror.... that one i also topped and look at it, didn't do very well, there are now 2 crammed colas and another cola off a lower branch same height off the top , don't think it will turn out any good yield but we will see cause its also shorter than the N. Lights and it didn't branch very well like the N. Lights either

yes i topped this auto flower and it grew 3 colas from one but i broke one of the colas/branches off...

havested these already forgot to updated oh well i got about 30 grams each plant.
