Just got out of a rabbit hole of listening to rogan lecture about mushrooms and dmt. The conversations remind me of a bunch of sophomore guys smoking pot and making mystical shit up. "Hey man, our world could be just be an atom on a policeman's coat button"

"Heavy dude, heavy."

What is weird is that the guy understands being in the moment, the sublime presence of losing youself in his mixed martial arts training and he misses the fundamental.

The power and grace one can get while doing something physical while submerged in another mentality. Mine was technical climbing, running rapids or scuba diving. Wish he could see the other half of what he is preaching.
And some of his infirmation is flat out wrong. Anyine know how i can communicate with the guy?

You worded that beautifully. I share many of the same concerns. He frequently gets facts wrong and people accept them as gospel truth.
Pretty sure he does a podcast you can comment on.

Dudes weird for sure...
I don't know many who partake of these drugs and still have the urge to kick people in the head..or narrate others, kicking people in the head...
I wanna spin him out..set down, have a REAL serious session with him...
Then see/listen his views on psychedelic drugs...

This seems like you haven't looked into the fella properly... He talks all the time about doing Jiu Jitsus after having a splif.

He definitely has a lot of stoner conversations but most of them are actually based on intelligent thoughts. The example mentioned at the top (coat button thing) is based on the concept of infinity which he had a (I forget the blokes name) fella on his podcast to talk about.

As for his comedy, I find it hilarious but as with any comedy, it's not for everyone.

Remember he is a comedian. So take most of what he says with a grain of salt:/

There's a lot to be said for a blow to the head.

Rogan, McKenna..
No we need people with phd's if the field is ever going to progress. Electrodes in brains and pet scans.

Leave the philosophy to the church of the blinding light.

i'm not a big fan.. i do like him on mma, even though i deplore violence irl, there's something about 2 people willing to get into a cage and beat each other silly that mystifies me...
i don't like him outside of mma though.. imo, he comes across kind of like, and sorry for the comparison, it's the best i can come up with, finshaggy.. as in he gets a small bit of info on a subject, and some how this makes him an expert on said subject, never mind as canndo noted, half of his facts aren't facts at all..
/ rant..

Harness the energy of the eternal, become the lizard, be the mountain, be the grace, place your very survival in the hands of the great teacher and surrender to majesty.

(Its technical, not scrambling, i was daring, not suicidal)

Scuba? Well, there i was tempting death i suppose.

In highschool i joined a ballet class. It was to get laid with the youn lithe women. I wound up gaining an appreciation for human movement and grace, i also learned i was no dancer but i have always believed that dance and lsd was a way to euphoric transcend all boundaries into the realm of beauty incarnate.
