Any feedback/comments/suggestion welcome

This is my third outdoor starting from clones

week 6 - Start to notice some stress. Some leaves are beginning to curl up. I have no idea why...

week 7

IMAG0331.jpg

week 8 - roots are starting to show on the bottom of the 1 gal containers. I transfered them to mostly 10 gal smart pots filled 3/4 of the way with Happy Frog. Still no nutes added

IMAG0342.jpg

week 9 - no sign of problems with the transplant

IMAG0348.jpg

week 10 - growth seems slow. notice quite a bit of leaf curl. some buds have brown spots? any thoughts? is this normal?

So I am ruling out neut lock as they are not currently getting any besides what is in the soil. Heat is not an issue it has been mid 60s - mid 70s. I am only water once every five days or so the soil has been retaining moisture well. Not watering until it is dry at least 2 inches down.

I am thinking about starting some nutrients next watering cycle. TIA for any feedback.

first off, why are your plants flowering already this early?? Brow spots can be mold/bug issues. from the looks of it id flush all ur pots with ph adjusted water, and see if that doesnt help out.

the brown spots i'm seeing just look like withered pistils right? they are pretty far along in flower so a shot of nutes would help them out. they look kinda dry to me but those air pots do dry out more. otherwise you just got some early flowering weed that looks good. maybe some cal mag for the spots

I have no idea why they are flowering. It seems way too early and the same thing happened last year. They get full sun almost all day. I thought that flowing should not kick off until there is at least 12hrs of dark. pissing me off...

Is cal mag still needed if i am using tap water? i let the water sit for at least 3 days before using it and then adjust the ph between 6.6 - 7.0.

I have been keeping a close eye on the moisture and it seems like the waterings have been sufficient.

If you are using tap water evaporated for 3 days then yes, you should use CaMg atleast once every week or two and if your going organic flush with Ph'd water for a week or two and then add a top dressing of manure or something silmular, good luck!

Is it OK to add cal mag + regular nutes durning the same watering?

By your time line, you put them out in May. It looks to me like they were already transtioning in your first clone picture or they started when you got them home. Sometimes when they get to far into flower they won't turn back without 18-24 hours in my experience. My 2 cents

week 11 - worms in buds..notice a few and sprayed plants with "safer caterpillar killer". did not seem to do much. pick bugs out with tweezers everyday..one here and there.

week 12-

NEED HELP HERE - Started with nutrients this week. I am using ~50 gallons of water per watering for 22 plants. I mixed in Fox Farms Big Bloom and following the directions my 1 litter bottle was only enough to mix with 30 gallons of water. The bottle of BB cost $19 does this mean that every feeding I am looking at spending ~$30??!! Is there a method I should use for watering/feeding that might be more efficient? Maybe water with plain water first to get the soil moist and then circle back and water with nutes mixed in right after? I plan on feeding every other water cycle and $30 per feeding seems excessive.

week 13 - meh not much growth, flowers are getting denser. to promote more growth is is too late to top. also i think that i should have pruned some of the lower branches earlier, would you recommend that i do that now to promote more growth? thanks all!

thanks ganja. i am just using the recommended 1-2 tsp / gallon per the label and it does not seem to have much affect.

one big question i have is with these plants deep into flowering is it too late to top to create more growth? i am a little disappointed at how short these are. looking health but small.
