Iv recently had ti use john innes 3 mixed with everyday compost ,plants dead at three weeks old ,,, repotted four weeks ago and came back to life ,I flipped them two weeks ago should I give them a little boom fertiliser reduced amount or will the john innes 3 be fine for now ,im assuming I will need to add bloom fertiliser at some point

Btw john innes 3 is for mature plants, chances are it was too hot, IE too much NPK for your plants as young as they are. I would stick to water for awhile and see how they do. It can take over a month for them to deplete the compost of nutes and if you transplanted them into a fresh compost blend that timer started over. I'm in flower now around 2 weeks ,You dont need bloom ferts till your in flower.
The pack said it feeds for 4 months , the plant aint young as they had 4 weeks in a solo cup and near died completely before I transplanted them into the john innes 3 mix and they have had four weeks in that already ,but I flipped them around two weeks ago ,but they have had four weeks to deplete the four month feeding john innes 3 soil , im just thinking it may still be to hotBtw john innes 3 is for mature plants, chances are it was too hot, IE too much NPK for your plants as young as they are.
