I have no doubt the general population was grateful...in PANAMA. The entire episode was sold as the war on drugs, meanwhile the DEA was looking the other way/allowing shipments of coke into this country to feed the crack epidemic.

Keep buying into the propaganda.
Let me guess, it was Bush's fault. Chem trails? You talk out of your brown orifice.

You think like I once did,

What about Desert Storm?. A former CIA director with heavy financial Texas oil ties turned President sells the American public on yet another dictator.

And in a region that has been unstable since the beginning of written history, and will always be unstable. If we hadn't fucked around over there, Iraq would have gone back to warring with Iran.

Waste of US tax $$, and American lives.

Why aren't you running for office?.....you seem to have all the answers............we would still need a strong military even if someone like yourself should happen to be elected..........god forbid.......

They need to go down to "Little Saigon", the Vietnamese area of their town & talk to the Vietnamese people that fled from there after the Americans left & the Communists took over....Ask them how they felt about America leaving Vietnam........most will start crying......

A military...for what?.

We have more firearms under private ownership in this country than the rest of the western hemisphere combined, and are surrounded on 2 sides by vast oceans.

Who exactly would be stupid enough to try and invade the leading producer of guns in the entire world...Mexico/Canada?.

Keep a few carriers and subs around to protect the coasts and airspace, then eliminate the US Army and Marines.

I'm sure they were grateful to have retained their oil, did they ever pay us back for our efforts?.

If you haven't noticed, we could use the $$.

Again, your hemorrhoid-laden pie hole is spewing ignorant crap again

They are grateful for their lives.

Click here to see who payed for desert storm
In a nutshell 7 billion is what it cost the US, which is less than the amount it would have cost to have these troops and assets left in garrison regardless.

You don't remember how the Saudis were going to give the troops big bonuses and shit , or were you even born?

It's getting almost well... embarrassing, for lack of a better word. I feel for you bro. NEXT

How nice, now go invade South Korea...I'm sure they would be grateful to be rid of their dictator as well.

But please, do the general public a favor and send your son or daughter in first.

And I'm old enough to remember the Nixon years, we have him to thank for the DEA.

Next.

racerboy71 , I don't agree with most what you posted, esp. the pictures of our wounded vets. but I give you respect for willing to take up arms against any invasion we may have.

I don't have any issues with racerboy posting those pics. Why hide those men from view? Are their sacrifices not relevent because they didn't pay the ultimate price? The government would keep these men in the shadows as well as the coffins sent home. Can't have an American public embolded against their wars can we? They learned this from Vietnam, it's why we didn't have a draft in the first part of the century. Stop Loss prevented this, they learned they wouldn't have the support they need at home if they took our sons unwillingly again.

The pics racerboy posted I feel are relevent to the op's thread. He should be shown what actually happens in this day and age of ied's. Does anyone know what the figure is for maimed soldiers returning home?

the problem is; the next invasion is likely to be an invasion of pressure cookers........I'd rather deal with them in their homeland than here in the USA......ask the people of Boston.........
