Joint Roller

Hi,

Im trying to roll a joint using a joint roller, when I do it, the top part of it gets so big and then all my weed falls out. I followed many videos on youtube, is there a solution to this? Thanks

The little plastic loop pops up and out every time that I try to roll it, sending my tobacco flying everywhere. It doesn't stay down, either, so it's just one big loop around instead of having the slot for the tobacco.

i never liked those things. go buy a pack of zig zags and oregano or something and get practicing. if you pay enough attention you can quickly roll just as good or better than one of those things. you can taylor the cigg for your smoking style and everything. i guess that's not what you asked but it's my .02.

The solution is to learn how to roll. However, those rollers with the exposed apron, if overstuffed, can 'pop out' if you try to force it. Don't put so much in there. Also, there are better machines, rizla makes an apron type roller that is as easy as closing the lid. Top and others make the 'injector' type that force the product into premade tubes. But really, learn how to roll with your fingers, maybe make a dip in the middle to make it easier to roll. And play with it enough so that the joint is nicely rounded and compacted before trying to twist it.. Good results can come from a dollar bill, too. The dollar works as the apron to work the herb into a nice shape, then the paper is laid down flat and licked and the dollar bill rolled between your fingers - like holding two pencils with the points touching-and you get a joint. It's only practice...

i just use 2 one dollar bills to roll my blunts been doing it for 30 years can roll free hand just like the even roll job

yah, i agree that your putting way too much into the roller machine.. when too much is added, the apron part keeps wanting to pop open like you've noticed.. add about half of what your using now and see if that gets the job done..

lol I hated the "joint" rollers you can buy, always little pinner joints if it worked at all. Now if you wanna roll a real one go to your local cigerette shop and get some empty cig filters and a cheap roller, just roll it like a reg cig and rip off the filter when your done ^^ now thats a joint...
