Im going from picture dates, i didnt write this down properly till late so i may be all fucked up with the flowering time, because it sounds wrong to me too. the date i have written down is 4-19-2010 showed sex. i have taken daily photos and first signs of sex were 4-19-2010. Looking back at pictures i actually can see sex at 4-14-2010 so that's the earliest i can detect hairs.

I am high so no discounting that. I cant explain the growth, other than its just faster in dwc.

thanks for the suggestion! well, I have to keep the noise levels low because my roommates have a cleaning lady that comes in my room once a week (gotta be super-stealth) - - maybe I'll try running two fans for each of the boxes. Are they that quiet?

by the way, youre cola is looking beautiful, hopefully i'll get something close to that on my upcoming first grow

you should try a SCROG next time your lights would be perfect for it! check out my setup, i think SCROG's are perfect for CFL's and for my next round im going to put glass or some thing in between the bulbs and buds for heat control, i think like make a closed fixture for them, you could do the same with yours with a little creativity and maybe a pc fan and a hose, you could make a " CoolBox " kinda for it. But those nugs are lookin pretty good so far!

Thanks! i've learned so much in a short amount of time. I will certainly be changing my lighting, I'm staying with CFL's but going to try a new vanity bar i wired up. While the other reflector is off i can build on it and some how enclose it. i have an extra 120mm pc fan im not using and an extra 6 inch fan. Im sure i can come up with something.

I will be locating some Poultry Netting, the plastic kind for SCROG during my remodel to the cabinet. it should work perfectly as a screen. If any one has a better suggestion on what to use, please speak up.

buds are looking great man, SCROG sounds cool, might give that a try next go. i got a small roll of chicken wire, that should work???

ive been looking to do just this in my hotbox. I ordered a bunch of fans last week to try to rig it up. and working out the "CoolBox" in my head. They sell plastic sheets pretty cheap at the hardware store.

oh and ive read you need at least 2 in gaps in the screen to scrog it. its supposed to be an easier way to do lst, you just bend it down when the tops grow through and poke it in another hole. thats how it was explained to me anyway.

you have to top or FIM them early, so they double there stems, then apply a two ply screen to the cabinet and when the plant grows up into the net i bend it so it goes into a different hole on the upper net. am i understanding correctly? i need much more research. it seems a bit advanced for a guy that hasnt finished his first grow. i will spend a few hours this evening looking up grow journals and see how others are doing it.

After checking out this good info, i think i will skip the scrog for the next grow, and get experience with LST this grow, see if i can pull off three fem'ed diesel ryder autos from the joint doctors.

it sucks huh? you wanna do all of them, but its best to just stick to doin 1 thing at a time as we grow.

a fim, topped, lst, scrog grow, LMAO.

LMAO right i should keep it simple and gain real world experience. LOL i have a harvest to get through first. Then on to curing, how long do you guys figure i should cure my weed?

I have heard of 2 weeks to six months.. I just want my first harvest to be good, something i can be proud of. the early bud had no taste or smell and i definitely want to avoid that if at all possible..
