Juicers?

Does anybody use juicers to juice their vegtables? I tried juiceing with my blender but it just doesnt have the capacity, it will spin, but has a hard time moving stuff around and chopping it up. It smoked up after failing at blending up carrots, and also with Flax seed,- but that was kind of expected, thats a tough grind.
But does anybody know of a particular brand of juicer out there somewhere that carries a real legit product? For around 60 dollars. I mean shit, its only juicing soft/moderate vegtables, wtf. any help shout it out

Or even a hand, stone grinder will work. I bet they'll be alot harder to find then you'd think, everything seems to be. Im like are we living in the stone age or what, but then i realize we'd have more stone grinders around if we were. Ima start lookin though

to actually juice a fruit and not buy it at the store? who juices a fruit anymore 'cept for you nuts in Ca.

i've only used the juiceman II. it worked very well but after about 6 months got real loud. over time the motor got weak. a 60 dollar juicer might not be worth it, especially if you do vegetables. harder produce is going to put more strain on the machine than softer shit like most fruit. they have to cut corners somewhere to have that price. either the motor, the blades, the effort to clean it, something. you should check a few consumer report websites and find out which list of cons is right for you.

the cheap ones waste alot of plant matter. carrots especially got to juice and press the pulp to actually get something out or it. best way to uptake essential vitamins carrot juice is a great calcium supplier unlike milk.

Right on man. The masticating juicers are the most efficient but also the most expensive. Personally, I have and LOVE this juicer:

My carrot pulp comes out pretty dang dried too. So far it hasn't skipped a beat, and cleanup is pretty painless. If you spend the money for a juicer, IMO you should spend at least 100 for a decent one.
