Not really man, Home Depot carries the kind of junction box you use for home installs, and the kind of cable grips that are used in panels and knockouts. The kind of junction box and cable glands that are IP67 certified are not sold there.Just go to any home depot type of store. They have boxes in every size imaginable and also the glands and other accessories.
I bought mine there and they work perfectly for our purposes. Not really man, Home Depot carries the kind of junction box you use for home installs, and the kind of cable grips that are used in panels and knockouts. That's cool thanks I'll look into that. I been trying to Google how to but if what the other guys are saying I can just buy one I might do that for now but thanks againView attachment 3991558 I don't know of a thread about making a junction box. I just studied photos similar to the one you have and took a chance.
I'll check it out thanks I thought everyone was just making themyou can buy those on amazon/ebay, you need the little cable gland fittings and then just drill out box where you need them
Thank you for the info I appreciate itYou need PG9 size Cable Glands (sometimes called wire nuts or cable nuts). You also want to find a box that has at least some fire-resistance rating - It should never be necessary but hey, peace of mind.
Amazon stocks them, as does Mouser and Digikey.
