The tent I cure in is called Zazzy the brand is on Amazon. I've had it since 2019 if quality hasn't changed the zippers are sturdy and the material is thick.

I am currently running a 5 x 5 Spider Farmer. Been growing in tents for years. One thing I can tell you about tents. Whatever tent you use, I always use soap on any zipper 's I use. It really will extend the life. My 1st ever tent was a 4 x 4 cheap mygrow tent that last 5 years before I retired it. Just take a bar of cheap soap over the zipper 2 or 3 times a year and your good. GL!

Gorilla and viviosun.

The gorilla has one small tear, but its held up pretty well for the last 3 years, with one full disassembly and reassembly.

I am pretty hard on the bottom lip, with sliding in a partially full res every week or so in flower

The viviosun has also held up pretty well, but its a noticeably cheaper product, and I've been a little less hard on her for it.

candle wax is an excellent lubricant for zippers.
I've got an i-power tent, 2x2x4. Built well, stout frame, strong zips. Used it a few times with no issues.

A little soap also works wonders on wood screews!

Search zipper lube and you will learn a lot.

I have a little stick of zipper wax that's at least 50 years old, and Mom didn't even grow! :P

Dont use anything "wet" to lube a zipper.
it will attract dust and make it tougher to operate.

Wax also works good for sliding door and window rollers, like a sliding glass door. rub it on the spine the wheel rolls on.

I know when I ripped my tent zipper (mars hydro) it was on a curved part of the zipper near the floor. It was totally careless handling on my part. I'm glad I was able to fix it quickly.

Yeah first thing to do is call who over you bought it from and ask for a replacement. Worst they can do is say no. They buy these things for super cheap.

I think AC Infinity is the best bang for the buck....But I own a couple cheapos that work just fine, and then I don't feel bad if I want to cut a hole for a water line, etc

I've had an Apollo for about 5-6 years, it's been great, I have one small section of zipper at the bottom of the door that doesn't zip anymore, it was completely my fault, I stepped on it several times!

Whoever designs the lip behind the zipper is a butthole. I have spent far too much of my life getting that thing unstuck on both of my tents.

The 90 dollar Melonfarmer 4x4 I just bought has a generous, like 2 inch, light baffle, so it actually blocks light and doesn't get caught in the zipper either!
