I think the slowest I had was a 2400. I had a 4800 break on me once and just drove over to US Robotics. I went around back and found a couple USR guys smoking a joint. They just swapped it out for me. I think they had 7 or 8 employees back then.

When I started dial-up networking, the fastest modems were 300 baud.


I expect trump will want to return to that.
