just bought a 400watt hps

having a few heat issues so far but nothing major. my question is the light came with a glass panel that covers the bulb. it seems like a ton of heat is getting trapped in there. is it safe to remove the glass and run it without it?

Yeah you should be ok. Just make sure you have it grounded and on a surge protector, and keep air moving across it

Yeah it is. But you should keep that glass on. It does cut down on heat. I hate my 400. To hot.

which 400w do you have? Planning on getting a lumatek tomorrow
