Just Chopped It

Here are some pics, just chopped it a few minutes ago. This is just some bag seed from a bag a while ago.

Anyone got any tips for quick-drying so I can sample some now?
My friend told me he has baked a couple fresh nugs in the oven on like 200 for like 20 minutes and it dries them out real fast, but I'm not sure about that.

I would just put some on a screen, with a fan blowing lightly on it
I smoked some of mine I did like this after only 5 days, and it tasted & smoked great
if the humidity is high where you're @,,, turn on the a/c or something
I would be weary about the oven,,, but If you're really in need
I have heard a food dehydrator on the lowest setting will do the trick

If you have a place over something warm like a T.V. set or computer, just figure out a way to get a shoebox with strings sewn through it and hang the bud on the string. If you live in the desert, just a day or so of this you will have something that will burn in your pipe, but remember, much of the cannaboids are reacted through the curing process, so if it isn't mind blowing out of the gate, just wait.

First time I smoked a bud that I'd grown...it was like my whole life had been leading up to it. You can dry a bud pretty quickly in a dry climate, but no matter, it will taaste good, at least to you.
Happy smoking.

Thanks for the replies, I was hoping to get some more complements on the buds tho, lol.

Good to hear that the cannabinoids will perk up some during curing, because it's not real potent now.

The bud looks nice and sticky. How many plants was is and what setup did you have? Looks pretty good, I'd pay an exrta 40 bux to smoke that over this brown shit.

Too many brownies
Dont label that stuff as "Just some bagseed" there is nothing wrong with bagseed man and your buds prove it, they look good. :peace::peace::peace:

YEah,
what kind of pot is that? Indica or Sativa???the buds look Indica, but I haven't seen the leaves. Some kind of Afgani shit I'd think...Keep in mind, I'm just really high right now...

Dont use an oven as you ll loose thc with faster drying. Best way is using a screen and fan like mentions or string a line and hang the buds from it in the dark with fan lightly blowing for 7-10 days.then you can cure in jars for best result 30 days

Thanks for the complements, this is not my first grow, but first real successful harvest. All my work has paid off!

I baked a couple little nugs and they were drier than shit in like 15 minutes. The smoke didnt taste terrible, but i got like a little half-high. For like 10 minutes.

I'm excited to hear from so many that the curing is a huge deal as far as potency. I got them hanging in my closet now with a light fan on them and Im not touching them for at least a couple weeks.

What is the jar curing? Just put them in a jar and open it like once a day?

Thanks for all the replies!

Open the jar once a day for 7 to 10 days, pulling them out and mixing them up a little. Curing really does make a huge difference. Just after the 2 weeks of hanging and two weeks +of bag drying.

what do you mean by +bag drying? can you teach me this way? and is there going to be a difference between 7 days of curing in a jar, and 10 days of it?
