If someone wanted to produce 4lbs a month. Is it realistic 4 the normal person? Would u need a big system? Wut do you guys think would be better to do this in soil or hydro. Just a couple questions I was thinkin about. Thanks in advanced

the short answer is yes.

the long answer is maybe. it takes time, dedication and money to do a large grow. you have a long way to go before you can even decide if a large grow is practical for you.

first buy a grow book or read growfaq and the stickies on this site. ask any remaining questions on the forums.

to give you an idea of what you'll need -
decide size and location of your grow room
decide on hydro or dirt (i'd do a small test grow with dirt)
decide on perpetual grow vs. traditional
decide on strains of weed
decide on lighting system
design and build grow room
