So its been a crazy summer and now fall. Here is a quick recap of what happened....
With the Autos done i moved all of the Photo plants outside. My original Brainstorm and California Hash Plant that i started from seed back in February and all the clones i got from them. 9 plants total- 5 Brainstorms and 4 Cali Hash plants. The plants loved being out under the sun, they got big. Real big, some almost 7 ft tall. I kept them potted so i could move them around if needed and some needed some stakes/tomato cages for support. In the end i kept losing branches from one monster as i think they got too heavy for her to support. Of the 9, i gave 1 away as a wedding gift to a buddy, my goat ate one and 2 i am hanging on to as i turned some of their branches male with colloidal silver, i am trying to get them to seed.
The remaining 5 i cut down on October 2 and hung them to dry. It was a lot more work than i had expected trimming and hanging all these plants. They hung for about a week and then i started jarring them for curing- i am only able to do one plant a night- again lots of work or i am slow. I have jared the 2 mother plants and biggest clone so far, 2 more to go. I am pretty happy with the yield so far, way more than i expected in comparison to the autos which were less than a oz per plant:
Mother Brainstorm- 8.4 oz
Mother Cali Hash- 13.4 oz
Clone Brainstorm #1- 19.2 oz
Wish there were an easier way to cure as i have about 30 jars i need to burp each day!
The chapter is about closed here but i did find a pleasant surprise tonight. I got a seed!
